The muzzle, is the front end of the gun barrel. You loaded the dart and the charge directly into the breech. So it's not a muzzle loader. It's basically a single shot breech loader. Great video!!

Thoroughly enjoy watching someone fabricate for their specific need. Being a welder myself and having visited the eye center many times I would highly recommend eye protection. Gloves also have advantages. Just saying.

With a muzzle loader you load the projectile thru the end of the barrel.

Back when we were farming we would rope the cows from the ground and give them a shot of penicillin or La 200 and run a piece of hay string between the toes back and forth . dousing in diesel fuel. that diesel fuel will clean that rot ft up make sure to get plenty of leg 6in so it will run down on the foot
