The main problem with pit, in my opinion, is that lower prestiger players CANNOT kill high prestige players period. Like depending upon the perk set up it is impossible for a noob to kill a certain player. And that isnt fun gameplay which drivers that player away.

Completely agree, i was never really a mystic user myself, but as a p23 who has played the game since release it's just so saddening and frustrating to see an update like this. I've not played Pit for a year now due to hoppers and the lack of new content, and it's definitely not gonna help when you have to wait a year for an update that simply makes the added items from the update before useless.

I'm lucky enough to have quit the pit before this update hit, I lost all my good items to a very well organised scam and I got hopped on by the guy with my own mystics for the next 2 days, so at presstige 12 I quit the pit... it was actually a blessing in disguise because I realised how much time I was spending in the pit and I now go outside with friends a lot more often because I'm not "busy"

Magnum Opus is the best thing by far in the update, its way better for repairing items than withercraft AND you get renown. 50 kills is nothing at this point when no one is using gset. The only problem is that you need to be prestige 12 to actually use it.

When you die from reaching the killstreak you don't even keep the lives on your current gear. Have fun streaking and losing lives on all of your current gear just to fix a single item. That is, even if you manage to survive to a 50 streak without getting hopped on.

I hit pres 12 about 2 months ago, and I was like "FINALLYYYYYY AFTER ALL THIS EFFORT I CAN PROTECT MYSTIC LIVES AND REACH THE END GAME!!!" "SURE ITS GONA COST 50 FUCKING RENOWN BUT ITS WORTH IT!!!!"....if only I knew...I was spending 50 renown...to get 1 more kill, every 4 kills.....imma be honest, im not using mystics until they fix pit...and if they say this is permanent...I'm just straight leaving...no reason to play anymore

As a prestige 3 I bought iron pack for thr helmet which made it worth it. Without the helmet there is literally no reason for it to exist. Wasted renown.

Honestly you explained it better than anyone Eve. I’ve been grinding and grinding trying to get to promotion and above because I want to be overpowered. So you’re right that this update ruins all of that. I see no point in trying to get there anymore, they removed the fun. I really hope that you have helped change what happens and I hope certain things get put back to how they were such as promotion. And they can go about other ways of balancing things without taking away everyones fun

I got a 30 day ban for playing the pit on 1.17.1, and i only have like 3 days left on the ban. Does that mean that i have to wait for another month to be able to play pit? Also how dumb is it that they ban me for playing on 1.17 for like 5 minutes, and bhoppers dont get banned?

honestly, if they really wanted to buff the lower prestiges, they should've added a perk or renown upgrade to help combat that. e.x. "Deal x% more dmg for every 10 levels that your victim has", and just make the golden pickaxe in the shop a one-time use and cost more. the iron helmet change is probably the one change that is the worst for newer players, if they just gave the helmet a flat price increase, or scaled the price with prestige, then it would've been fine. this is all just my thoughts though, and i am by no means very experienced, im literally prestige 9. but god, please just revert at least some of these changes, its going to kill the game for good.

imo they should revert pit to before mystics. Or like make them not so broken that people can't get into the game. I'm prestige 20 and i can't even do anything cuz everyone i fight has good mystics, or is a hacker. And the game has kinda just lost players cuz of this. Also revert to before the kung fu nerf. Like why does kung fu, a prestige 10 perk, which cost 10,000 gold, do the same damage as a prestige 2 perk, which cost like 2 or 3 thousand gold.

You guys are really overreacting... The point of this update was to remove saving lives per death. You can still repair them, or if you are using a gset you can use a feather. Since mini fixed double death. You can use prot armor again! Also, with migrating accounts removing bhoppers very soon, AND pit having the same banning system as ranked skywars. People who have been banned many times in the pit will be PERMANENTLY BANNED from pit! Also the new perk, insurance. Oh no you have to take an extra 2 seconds to kill a person. What will most likely happen from the community is either. 1.) People who know they will get permanently banned will just go full out with one last blow OR 2.) Try to transfer all their items on a REAL ACCOUNT, not an alt account. I feel like since people got used to mystics for so long, they ONLY used mystics. Which is fair since one of the key aspects of pit are mystics. But people need to realize how to streak without them. Finally, the only thing, ONLY THING I see wrong with this update. Is that Mini did not nerf any dark pants. Which means venom's will now be better than it before, BUT at least you know there won't be a pres 0 bhopper coming right after you.

6:58 daily log was removed a year ago, thats patching the thing you could do where you shoot someone with a bow, switch lobbies, and not lose lives. 7:15 also if you think this one is a bad thing then you haven't been paying attention to pit recently (ik u haven't which is fine), but people just bot the shit out of ubers with bots that act sorta like normal nons, and it is devaluing everything, so I think this is a good thing.
