The female officer literally had no idea what she was doing - she merely threw something out there (unfortunately she doesn't know the laws, and could result in legal proceedings against her department, the town, and perhaps even the post office). It is always helpful, if you're in law enforcement, to know the laws you are supposed to enforce. By the way, the senior officer is the type of officer we all respect - he listens and speaks slowly. Poster 7 clearly states they can be trespassed. But so does: RSMo 569.140. And it doesn’t require you to create a crime before being trespassed. The postal supervisor can trespass you just for standing there not handling business which is what those three were doing. They were standing there filming. Not in line, not checking mail, just filming and harassing. Poster 7 also says you can record at specific spots till a postal supervisor, manager, inspector, or post master tells you to stop. Those three have read that part numerous times and ignored it.

The biggest problem I have with these audit videos is the approach. Its cringy how douche-y the auditors can be when trying to prove their point. I think there is a more productive way to do these same type of audits without being dicks about it like "oh how are we supposed to know the rules if we can't see them." Etc. I would just kill em with kindness and facts. But not in such a condescending way. More tact I suppose. I think these audits are good and need to happen and shared but every video I watch no matter who's doing the audit- always come off like you're trying to one up every one with your knowledge of laws etc. We need professional journalists doing things like this. Not mainstream media. But rather just more professional people. No disrespect to this channel or these guys but I see these tactics with everyone. Its like walking up to a bully in school and trying to tempt him in beating you up in front of the principal. Yes, the "bully" may be a bastard or in the wrong and need to be handled but not in a hypricrital manner where you stoop to their level to ruffle their feathers in front of the principal. When you start insulting public servants, even if naive and ignorant of the law- you are no better than them. And to be honest you should be auditing the organizations in which trained them for their lack of training and teaching these officers. The problem isn't the officers. Its the system they come out of. The correctional system is flawed. And so too are people but the fight needs to be brought to the police academies in which trains these people.

I agree. I won’t go into too much detail, but they just seem like whiny auditors. Just escalating when they preach de-escalation. I agree that they have the right to record, they have that right. But Jesus Christ they’re so whiny and it’s so annoying. They could be cordial and explain their purpose without bitching and saying they’re “owning” them. They don’t own the president or the Vice President or the public workers. This isn’t slavery we don’t own anyone. We’re all people. I personally think this audit was extremely unprofessional, annoying, and I hope that they can maybe stop acting like these people did something horrible to them, and start treating them like people, and have cordial conversations. It’s clear; they came here to get the police involved and get content.. not to check out the post office. And the police were not escalating or nasty like the auditors were. I appreciate the auditing community, but this is just ridiculous. Long Island audit is the real deal, he would never act in this manner.
