Yeolo i guess you've never seen those scammer-trolling videos where hackers play the scammers and they completely lose their shit? You'll get plenty of cursing on those! I also heard the reasoning for picking up scam calls. Some people think it helps because another minute wasted on your not getting scammed is saving someone else potentially being cheated of their money.

This just happened jn with my grand father, thank god he passed me the phone because he couldnt understand what the hell the dude was saying When i saw the face time i was like this is so sketchy just by seeing the number that appeared on the screen and since when police got do face time one ? Once he passed me the phone, the dude asked me “how are you?” And from there i knew something was up from the accent and the way he said it. Afterwards the ID shown as well was so fake ! I immediately hung up and the scammer tried calling my grandpa multiple of times then i just blocked the dudes number. I swear this people have nothing better to do like do you HAVE to scam people ? Stupid i swear

Eh... 10:41 that scammer guy in the Toys R Us vid looks SUPER familiar... my mum shared a video she got from a friend, in which the lady in the video got the scam call AND actually had her mum beside her. Her mum is not your typical mum leh...but a policewoman at that 😂She screamed "that is not how Singapore Police Force office looks like, show me your card and take off your mask" multiple times until the scammer got fed up, showed middle finger back at them before ending the call 😂 Not sure if her mum is an actual policewoman but it was quite funny to watch😂

I would store the 3 digits card verification code elsewhere and use black marker to cover it. Even if someone were to memorise your card number they can't do much without the code.

First,the accent is a dead giveaway.No Singaporeans speak like that. Second,if the call,message is a recorded one,it's another giveaway. Third,if the call,message makes you anxious,worried,it is clearly a scam.

I think these scammer(s) is from Pakistan. I did some research of their phone numbers and they seemed to be from Pakistan though. Not trying to bring Pakistan's name down but their accents kinda gave it away.
