the reason on why the e-gun is under the shotgun category, is that it (from a legal standpoint) "has multiple pellets" from how fast it does a 5 round burst.

Probably also worth mentioning, the e-gun and coilgun are based off a real world gun, and on that gun the 5 round burst setting is called "shotgun" mode.

Here's a fun fact: If you're insane enough, you can mod the BFG to essentially become a close-range shotgun, probably the worst and loudest shotgun out there due to the singular shot mechanic that characterizes the gun, it'd be pretty hard to kill anything that's at the kill range of the R870. If you wanna feel crazy enough, try pairing it with the carbine barrel and the chainsaw grip to have the ultimate close-range cannon.

I believe the E-Gun is classified as a shotgun because irl its 5 round burst mode is called shotgun mode. It has semi-automatic, full automatic, and shotgun (5 round burst)

nobody noticed that they nerfed the shotgun conversion on the bfg 50 either. renamed it from something (i forgor) to ratshot and halfed the pellet number, and subtracted 5 dmg Edit: it was called dust shot

The 50 Caliber guns used to have dustshot (now ratshot), however when they changed the name of the conversion, I'm pretty sure they changed the damage and spread for it too. They used to be able to get kills easily, but they struggle at point blank now.

strike 3 conversion: while yes, obnoxious, is still a powerhouse in cqc or especially if you catch a group of enemies in a narrow hallway like highway lot.

my setup for the Henry 410 is just literally take off the stock and put on skeleton grip and no sights and loudener (just for design) got like 4k kills on it and it's actually fun

1 complaint i always have with henry410 is that the spread can be too good sometimes, like i see 2 people sniping next to each other i shoot them, and 1 dies and the other already has their secondary out and sprayed me with the deagle

Personally, I use the New army with snake-shot, which is a little better then rat-shot and its not actually that bad. On average it takes 2 shots to kill someone, 1 if your point blank. Quite fun in my opinion

It wouldn't make sense, but it'd be funny if they added ratshot to the shotguns meaning each pellet (lets say 8) would turn into 4. So it'd be 32 pellets per shot. They'd have to SEVERLY nerf the damage and range though. Also I know birdshot is a thing but its only up to 16 pellets pershot. I WANT 32!
