The worst initial stock grind known to man is the Churchill NA75... Just getting to the APCBC drove me insane. I think after 6 matches I still didn't have parts😂🙃

APCR needs to be removed from a stock grind, and some vehicles have to research 2 different apcr shells b4 they can get to anything good.

JPz 4-5 is also quite terrible - it has stock HESH, a round that was gutted by gaijin years ago and is so inconsistent with the damage APCR would be more usable

No, the JPz 4-5 is one of the best tank at 6.3 , even after having unlocked the HEAT-FS, i still play it with the HESH, if you now how to aim you Can easily one/two shot everyone

Here is a little tip - you don't need to manually buy any parts, only assign research and finish it, all researched parts will be bought automatically when you exit modifications window (with the exception of very last module that you research at the vehicle).

This was one of the easier German higher BR tanks to spade, than any other. Easier were only gepard/leo and rakjagdpanzer with 2 manually guided missiles.

Trust me, the German M48A2's stock grind is better than the US tech tree version as, espetially back in the day when Gaijin and their infinite wisdom put it at 6.7. Basically, you had the armor of a heavy tank, and the gun and mobility of a medium tank. I have it, and when it was at 6.7, I got 10-15 kill games with it frequently. At stock, the HVAP sucks, but your armor did help back then. Now at 7.3, your armor is meh, and if your stuck with HVAP, RIP. Still, I would say the US version is worse because the US 7.3 lineup is just weaker.

First mistake was not unlocking M82 before Hesh. M82 is a god round, if it pens, its a one shot kill.

Why you skip the M82 shot? It's there to ease your pain through grinding this tank. I do occasionally go back to this BR with M46 M47 and M48 lineups just to enjoy this round.

yea sure M82 shot isnt the best APHE at this br but come on, dont skip on it and go for HESH lmao. 185mm is honestly all you'll really need for sideshots and if you know how to aim it aint that bad of an overall main round. I use mostly M82 shot with the secondary being HEATFS for things like IS-4M or IS-3's stuff like that.

I have to disagree with you bc yes at the start the M47 is bad but once you finish the grind this tank is incredible. It as good mobility, a good gun and somewhat of a good armor. This tank does the job of a medium tank perfectly good

It does not qualify as worst stock tank. The real worst stock tank is chinese PT-76. You start with apcr, your armor can't save you even from HMG, no stab, no nothing. The aphe you get would suck at 3.7-4.0, let alone 5.0. The only decent round is HEAT-FS, which is still only 200mm of pen.

I dont get why people have problems playing with this tank. I play the US M48 which is arguably worse and I love it. Its got a range finder, decent mobility, decent pen, decent armour and it can tank a few shots. It's just a solid performer, nothing special but no reason for anyone to do badly. APCR wasnt too bad either, just pick your fights and your targets accordingly.
