For small creators it’s unbelievably frustrating that these stupid AI channels exist. They often take up the recommendations feed when your ACTIVITY TRYING to find legitimate smaller KZbinrs under 1,000 or even 100 subs to support. I can’t tell you how many times I been bingeing a topic and then seeing a video with a small amount of views and I think “oh cool! another chance to diversify my watch time and give some love to my fellow smalltubers!” Only to be met by an AI voice narrating a generic script…it’s disheartening honestly 🫤 so now I’ve resorted to just reading KZbin comments on videos, seeking people who seem kind/open or have a good sense of humour from what they’ve written, and seeing if they have content on their channel that I would like watching. Yeah that’s a lot of work but it definitely worthwhile since you can find some genuinely lovely people with great content. I have found real people organically using the recommended feed as well but it’s few and far between, despite KZbin’s updated disclosure on Ai content. So yeah sorry for the rant, but I just needed to get that out of my head and into text for people to see. I’m glad KZbin is finally trying to incorporate small creators into the algorithm, it’s just sad that so many of these Lazy Ai channel are taking advantage of that… -_-
