Get some chiken soup and drink for a few days. Rub down with lemon and alchohol. It is very important you take care of yourself whilst travelling. Lots of salads... Good water

In Jamaica ‘rice and peas’ is a side dish which is mostly accompanied by a meat or fish dish. I guess it could be eaten by itself, but that is not how they generally do it in Jamaica.

My brother there are many Ital restaurants/vegetarian food shops around where u can get the kind of meal u want to eat. Ask any Rasta and they will tell u where to go.

Kish, you should do your research before leaving your house there are actually vegetarian options in Liguanea near you. It is rainy season in Jamaica you are going to need an umbrella or a Hoodie more rain to come. Island Grill also has healthy options. The restaurant you bought that food has to close off the cashier because it's a dangerous area stay safe.

Hey Kish. Sorry you are having so much trouble getting food. It's very easy to get what you want but there is an issue with understanding each other. They sometimes have fish on the menu if you don't want meat. Also, many places sell soup with the meal so don't forget to ask. There are many places where you order like a "drive thru'' and then pick up like McDonalds and many other places, not only a Security issue but for convenience and efficiency for the business. So not seeing the person is similar to that, I guess. Stay safe and use Island Grill for your meals where you can also get authentic Jamaican food like Marwa did. He loved it. Remember - Island Grill. So be well and stay safe.

That same size food would cost you ten US dollars which is the equivalent of 1,500 Jamaican dollars, I lived in the USA and that food is a lot cheaper in Jamaica 🇯🇲 , so always do the equivalent of the USA dollars, because the USA dollar is the second most used currency in Jamaica 🇯🇲 in doing everything ,only Jamaicans understand the Jamaican dollars.
