Great footage of you two expertly docking. It almost looked like you had a bow thruster! Catamaran docking must have some learned tricks.

We have the Montlake Cut and it gets crazy busy. But at least they follow the no wake rule. WTH - those boats were flying by!! Great job with the drone. We're hoping we don't lose ours when we fly from the boat in the BVIs in Feb.

Oh I CAN NOT wait to see the BVI drone shots! We had just got ours the last time we were there and were just learning how to fly. But what we do have from Sandy Spit and White Bay are just 🌟🌟🌟🌟. You guys will love seeing the islands from that perspective!

I do miss our little Thursday installments though. See you soon! As always Stay Safe

Its so funny that you guys showed up at Safe Harbor(City Marina) just as I was having to pull my boat out. I saw you on one of the outer docks in the middle just as I left to pull our family's boat out. Now my boat is sitting in back of my house waiting for new thru-hulls. Mine were so brittle they snapped off with zero effort...I am so lucky to have gotten out when I did! I tried to yell hello when I passed by, but you folks were too far away and/or probably not on the boat.

We stayed at the mega dock when bringing our Grand Banks 42 to the gulf coast from Beaufort, NC. My son went to the College of Charleston and he and my wife did the bicycles to the campus and all over downtown Charleston. We thought we had a good size boat until we docked next to all the mega yachts, hahahah……..great video and drone footage.
@FolsomOceanViews3 жыл бұрын
hahaha - we felt the same way when we were on the mega dock last year. The best part about tying on there is getting to walk past all the amazing boats. Fountianhead was here a few weeks ago, and it is just such a marvel to see!

Really enjoy your videos. Funny that the music played at 6:38 is the theme music for Lazy Gecko Sailing Adventures, another KZbin vlogger traveling on a catamaran. We have Zizzo bikes as well, and they seem pretty good for the price. One thing we can highly recommend is to get the folding bike mirrors that attach to the end of the handlebar tube. Compact, and don't protrude when the bike is folded up. But best because you can see a car when it comes up behind you! The biggest threat on the bike. Be safe.
@FolsomOceanViews3 жыл бұрын
Nice reccomendation!! I will add them to the shopping cart 🛒. We get all of our music from Artlist, and I think a lot of other chanels must as well. Its a really good platform for creators to get music and never have to worry about copywright claims!

My kingdom for a slack tide docking!! Mavics are expensive to lose in the water, probably a good idea to stop. There's a waterproof line from Swellpro, there's one you can even use to drag a fishing line out or deliver a floatation device. Check them out next time. And yes... you should have cut in there. 😁 Great video as always!

We did get them both filled (each had one in our bag pack). But we only use propane once a day, maybe less. We have an electric kettle, and an induction cooktop. So I really only use it for things where I want a lot of temperature control.
