A breath of fresh air, to hear you talking about this. Right on!, that we blame the user, when in fact the standard of UI across the industry is laughable. Many people think that we have computers that people can use. I do not see that. I think one day we will-and it fires me up to think of that day; that, for instance, my mother might be able to use a computer without anxiety and without feeling inadequate.

Great video about UX failures 👍🏽 Reminded me about the 1996 Ozone Disco tragedy here in the Philippines. Other than non-available fire exits and sprinklers, and defective extinguishers, the lone exit that was a small door swung inward, causing people in the stampede to be trapped in the burning establishment.

As a nurse venturing into electronic medical record UX development, your video really was a vital reminder. Thank you!

Always a useful video(from a practical different point of view...from user's point of view). I'm working as a ux designer(1 year) in a small company: i m learning a lot of things and your videos improve my curiosity and to improve myself. So thank you

Really interesting video highlighting the importance of great UX and UI design. I'm currently working on a banking project and have read some sad stories of what can happen if people believe their account is empty/in the minus etc. Thanks for another great video :)

Great to hear! and yes, even seemingly normal products and services can have devastating effect. UX is a powerful tool that needs to be done right, otherwise the risk is too big and can ruin lives.

As a designer I use to take solace in the fact (i use to think) that at least I'm not working in a life or death situation.. This video changed that for me. Imagine a something as simple as a sign output giving the wrong info.. the knock on effect could lead to loss of life. Thanks for the video 👍

Many aircraft crash disasters occurred humen error !, even well experienced poilets, some potion of those were faulty or misleading user interface design, majority user fault

Maybe the fact that the responsibility for the errors is attributed to the user - as opposed to the UX design - can be seen as a form of actor-observer bias: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Actor%E2%80%93observer_asymmetry

Hey dude, great content! I'm thinking of becoming a UX designer from QA, Can you share me any roadmap or resources that I can learn from? Thanks a lot in advance.

Hey, thanks glad you find it so. It's a loaded request/question. I'd recommend to check my upcoming book 'get into ux' which lists out some resources and pathways to do so. Search for it on amazon as it's coming out on 1st. Nov.
