I have seen the flying bird thing before. MapleStory uses it during a single quest line to indicate a sort of "dull reaction" or something when a character says something that no one else really finds amusing. They used a crow instead but the bird itself probably doesn't matter. I think maybe it's a Korean thing? Because the game is Korean in origin & I'm guessing the video is as well(though I'm not certain on that), or at least some Asian thing that's just not used outside of the region? Either way I tried to research it & got nowhere, maybe someone else actually knows what it really means.

Thanks. I've got a better idea of what is is though it must still be somewhat obscure, I've only seen it in 2 pieces of media so far. Maybe it's a semi-recent thing too? For anyone wondering it pops up several times in the MapleStory quest in Korean Folk Town, available at level 125, the version in the game right now(I'm on the Global client which is North America & Europe, so YMMV on if it's in other versions but 99% likely it's in the Korean client as most content originates there). I do not recall seeing it outside of that quest line though, but it might pop up in other places as I have not done every quest in the game.
