Ever since Smack played out Cassidy and basically put him on ICE after that Hitman Holla battle. Battle rap went south. Cassidy was truly the energy that elevated the culture throughout the years and for you to just give him a freeway battle that never happened after the monster battle v Hitman Holla. It was the beginning of the end. The blocking of the URL battlers from Eazys card also hurt very the brand very badly. Throw in Surfs incarceration and the falloff is in full effect.
