Love your videos. Hope you get the needed rain for your area. Drought here in MA, too. Several wildfires in the state these past couple of days, which is very unusual here. The air quality was unhealthy due to a wildfire that is 3 towns over from our town. Hopefully, the little bit of rain we're supposed to get tonight will help put them out.

Drought here in MS also. The only thing that has saved our grass from looking like that is that we have been having heavy dews for some reason.

I dont know what part of MS you are in, but here in MS just across the LA state line above New Orleans, we haven't had any measurable rain in 2 months. But Yes, we are having Very heavy dews. I am So Thankful for those dews!!

Gary we’re having the same problem here in central California. We have not had any rain since last spring. I live on decomposed granite soil, which turns to rock in the summer and sand in the winter. It grows good pastures if we have a good wet winter. Right now if my mules roll in the same place two or more times I have a eight inch dust pit and it grows with every rolling event. My oak trees are drooping. It’s the driest I’ve ever seen it in 45yrs .

Hi from Oregon. We have drought here every summer. It's not unusual to go 60 days without rain. We always have to irrigate crops, but we have plenty of water available. The hay is cut sometime in June, depending on the weather, and by the beginning of August the grass is completely brown and stays that way until we get frequent rain again, and it stays green all winter but doesn't grow much. If you have a lawn you have to cut it from February or March until November or December. The average rainfall in the Willamette Valley is around 40-42 inches, and where I live just a few miles away is around 60 inches (in the Coast Range foothills). We average less than five days above 100 degrees in the summer, and don't get much snow in the winter, and it's usually gone by afternoon.

We are in a drought in Southern Central Tennessee and have some rain predicted for Thursday and Friday. We have not had a frost yet, which is very unusual for this time of year. I am still picking okra, cherry tomatoes and figs.

So getting rid of it deprives you of needed energy. 🥩 Of course if you’re ALSO eating LOTS of carbs/sugar (who isn’t😉)-that’s where issues begin. Fat is satiating, too-fills you up! 🥩🥓

Sorry I missed the live--slept in after up way too late. Love this wonderful Walker Family. Glad you all had fun at the auction, and meals at great restaurants together. Minnesota west-central-me---got a really light misting rain one day last week. No where near an inch, but it did help. Winds have been crazy here, still in danger of fires though. I am just so glad no snow and winter conditions yet--Above normal temps for us. I love that shirt. I have used Cassie's statement on other lives, and I credited her!!! Yes, Ann and Andy! Central Texas has basically been in drought for.3 years. We get some and then no rain again for months. Texas is talking of a decrease in States water supply to dangerous levels.

The drought is just as bad here in Kansas also. Unfortunately we don’t have the same forecast for rain, not in NW KS anyway. Today 10-29-24, the wind is blowing 30-35 MPH with gusts to 45. It’s brutal. A portion of I-70 is closed right now because of smoke from a grass fire. We all need rain. If you can afford the side by side and you want it then there’s no further explanation needed. Swan Pond, where are some homes are and Nother two towns away had another fire up in the breaker reservation and I went out today and it is so smoky and cloudy in my neighborhood and it’s rough.
