I did this wrap a long time ago, using floral and leopard print scarves, then later using various plaid scarves. Both combinations were harmonious in color palettes. Both were great, but I forgot about this wrap and didn't do it again. I came across this tutorial and thought I'd watch again. I find it helps me to have a second mirror, allowing me to see behind my head. Thanks for this tutorial.

I like to wrap my hair because I think it’s stunning and it keeps my hair literally under wraps when I want to work. I don’t wrap it for any religious reasons. So I hope it isn’t offensive to anyone who is. I just think it’s beautiful and convenient. Plus I have white girl curls and it’s a good way for me to condition treat my hair in a gorgeous manner. I am an Indian gursikh who covers her hair. Some Sikh women wear turbans, most are western who belong to a cult. However, I love you ladies and your pride for your Jewish faith. You guys are so friendly and genuine. Plus you inspired me to do a simpler keski/paghri (keski is a female turban, pagh or paghri is a turban in general.) it sounds weird but I'd rather have inspiration from another religion than from those who try to pose as loving my own. Thank you guys for your great work. Andrea, Rachel and gang you are awesome. :) I am ordering some great volumizers to save time and literally headaches - to tie a patka (which is basically a Sikh version of the shaper but hand tied - can cause headaches when tied too tightly.) you guys have such a friendly, open, loving nature. I would do the fancy wrapping while fellowshipping. But out in public i use long material headbands to cover. It does look different. But not not like how your doing it.// plus I make my own head coverings.

Late reply, but it’d you’re still looking for styles using thicker scarves, you should visit the Wrapunzel Ladies channel and check out all the tutorials on using pashmina, including the Cranberry and Lakeshore Bliss scarves. She also goes a great one using some of their much thicker scarves. Best wishes to you and yours!
