The thrust of the problem is that Icke always says that he is reporting the information that he has gathered, and invites the reader to make the same connections. The reporter obviously has an angle, asking for "proof" and the like. Icke doesn't claim to have "proof" - he is only presenting his collected evidence. Of course he has his own beliefs and interpretations, and so do his readers.

David Icke is a British conspiracy theorist and former sports broadcaster who has become one of the most prominent producers of conspiracy content since the 1990s. After a controversial appearance on BBC's Wogan show in 1991 where he claimed he was the "Son of God," Icke developed an elaborate supernatural conspiracy theory centered around the idea that humanity is secretly controlled by a race of shape-shifting reptilian aliens from the Draco constellation. According to Icke's "Reptilian Thesis," these aliens have infiltrated the world's elite families and institutions through genetic manipulation and interbreeding. He claims that prominent figures including the British Royal Family, various U.S. presidents, and the Jewish Rothschild family are actually reptilian beings who consume human blood and engage in ritual child abuse. This forms part of what scholars call a "super-conspiracy" - an overarching narrative that connects multiple conspiracy theories into one grand unified theory. While Icke often attempts to distance himself from accusations of antisemitism by using coded language like "Rothschild Zionism" or "Sabbatean Frankists," academic analyses have identified clear antisemitic themes throughout his work. His writings frequently promote debunked antisemitic propaganda like The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and his descriptions of blood-drinking reptilian elites closely mirror medieval antisemitic blood libel accusations. Content analysis of his KZbin videos and audience comments reveals a strong focus on Jewish-related targets of conspiracy accusations, with terms like "Zionist," "Rothschild," and "Jews" being dramatically overrepresented compared to general online discourse. Icke has built a significant following through skilled use of multiple media platforms, including books, international speaking tours, and social media. His conspiracy theories incorporate elements of New Age spirituality, pseudo-history, and political extremism into an ideological worldview that presents all major world events as orchestrated by a malevolent alien elite. While he frames his work as revealing hidden truths, careful analysis shows his theories perpetuate dangerous antisemitic myths under a veneer of supernatural and science-fictional elements. His KZbin channel was eventually deleted in 2020 for promoting harmful disinformation, though his influence continues through other platforms. The overarching theme in Icke's work is the idea that human society and consciousness are being manipulated and suppressed by powerful hidden forces. However, his seemingly novel supernatural narrative often serves as a vehicle for promoting traditional conspiracy theories and prejudices, particularly antisemitism, while maintaining plausible deniability through elaborate metaphorical frameworks.

You're a fine anecdote teller, and in your position I would also have sided with Icke. That writer was just rudely-confrontational and didn't let David speak, with that infuriating repeating "just explain it to me then!"....well he would if you'd just shut up, mate! Whether we believe what David says or not, if one is interviewing him you let him speak. On your critical intro: it's a common misconception that Icke told Wogan he's the "literally the son of God." Watch it again. He's referring to the Godhead, of which we all belong (albeit unconsciously....i.e. Jung's Collective Unconscious), just that David claims he is fine-tuned to it. Wogan wanted to pigeonhole him into the 'son of god' label and it kinda fell that way for the lay listener. Regarding anti-semitic tropes in Icke's work, i guess that's a matter of debate. There are factual things there, but some listeners (perhaps David himself) may fall into the trap of thinking there's more to certain 'over-representation' than there really is.

So if you’re being charitable you could say it’s something that’s in the culture that icke has grown up with, and he unconsciously brought all this stuff into his theories. & if you’re not being charitable you can just see it as a code word for Jews. Such a shame. I thoroughly enjoyed the way you told your story regarding Hilary, that’s how I found your Channel. But the way you slandered Icke (I’m not even an Icke fan) and added that clown music to their interaction was very low brow and cheap. It would have been a great opportunity to hear them discuss their differing views. If anything Icke actually came across quite measured - the interviewer on the other hand was clearly trying to be antagonistic. The collective consciousness is at a point now where we can clearly see the lies and bullshit, and people have had enough. Icke’s popularity is indicative of that. You did capture him beautifully I’ll give you that. But the fact you tried to weasel your way back in to the good graces of the interviewer afterwards and gleeful that you did it just to get the shot - clearly shows your lack of integrity and shamelessness. At least you were honest. What a time to be alive… where people are nonchalantly character assassinating those who speak against the manufactured narrative and the approved hegemonic discourse… Sad. Here’s hoping you find grace and wisdom in your later years. 🙏🏽

TBH the Hillary video had a red lag where he wants to give her a copy of his first book (lol) so he can show her how deep he is but something seemed off when you do that by shamelessly plugging your own book LMAO I would've handed her Closing of the American Mind or something not guilt tripping her into accepting a holocaust book... Icke was a boss here. Very cool in the face of that pressure from the writer. gave me anxiety to imagine myself standing by my own fringe claims and then inviting a writer into my home only for them to start grilling me about proof of my claims... like a shake down or something but icke was very cool.
