glad to see it lasted for you. i found several other reviews where people had issues with warping. i just received mine and the back section is split. Since you posted this sometime ago, i'd be curious if 5 years later, its still holding up. thanks for the review!

Are the screws on your hinges loose ? The hinges on my Galen Writing Box are very loose which causes the top to feel loose and off center when I open and close the box. Thanks for the nice review!
