Beautiful work as always. I do have one comment though. We all hate netting but sadly it’s a must if you have Koi and Heron around. I had a clear , opposed to black netting over mine. I also had it low to the waters surface like here. BIG mistake. While the Heron couldn’t get any fish out they were able to spear a few in the process thus killing them. Truly a sad day seeing one of your prized Koi dead from this. Almost better just finding it missing. One time I actually had one that ended up in the skimmer and hadn’t noticed it for days. BTW my skimmer is installed correctly lol. So now I have black netting that is domed over it all. I fabricated a custom frame to follow the curvature of the pond. No way for the Heron to even get close. I hate looking at it but sure beats losing fish .

Very educational if you glean from it that you need to do your research and only use a competent contractor with experience building successful ponds like this. Beautiful pond and backyard space.

Skimmer upside down at the bottom of the Pond and iffy seaming, that makes me cringe. Thankfully, the professionals were able to get to that disastrous Pond to reconstruct it properly, and it looks Amazing. 👍🙂👍❤️

LOL come to Oz and pick a snake up off the road. Depending upon where you are it is highly likely one of the following, an Eastern Brown, Red-Bellied Black, Inland Taipan, Coastal Taipan, King Brown, Death Adder, Tiger or a number of any other species that if bitten, can kill you before you can drive more than a few kilometres down the road. Famous last words from many snake handlers in Oz............... "She'll be right, I've done this a million times before"
