This is the first time I was able to connect with her. I feel the emotions while she's singing this song. Spectacular vocal range and emotions!!! If she sings like this every time, then, she'll stay for long. I didn't like her before but it just changed with this performance.

I don't know what you're coughing but Saara is not that great at keeping her tune consistent. It was the same back in the day when she was a contestant in Voice of Finland. She can hit the notes incredibly well but lacks the consistent tune to carry out the songs. That exactly is one thing that is dividing people over Saaras voice. As amazing singer as she is, her singing sounds very messy at times eventhough she hits the notes very well.

Watching this sing-off with Saara Aalto? It's obvious Saara wanted this more than anyone! She meant every single word in that song she just sang! You could feel and see just how much she wanted this! My Goodness, how could they have not voted for Saara after her first live show over all the other's dreary singers is beyond me to this day! Saara made all the other singers in this season's XFactor look like amateur little mutant singers! She was the only REAL DEAL That Season! Saara You Won the title after all was said and done! Thanks again Anthony with your videos. How in the world did this happen? How could Saara be in the bottom TWO ??? No way! Somethings wrong with this picture. Her voice is amazing. You notice when those who aren't from UK get booted off this show quicker? There's no reason in the world Saara should have been standing there with the 2 candy boys. There are so many others that should be standing in her place. She gave 2 winning performances in a row. Her first live show then this sing off. I'm sick of this always happening each year. Lol, I just watched AGT and one contestant - Laura Bretan - got so much sh** by so many Americans because she was (wrongly) accused of being Romanian... whereas in the last season of BGT, a Moldovan - Alex Magala - had tremendous support and went all the way to the final without any Brit criticising him for being Moldovan... So the xenophobia is (can be) at least just as strong in the US as it is in the UK. I'm watching this from the outside, being neither from the UK, nor the US. As far as Saara is concerned, I think the problem is cultural (more than actually based on citizenship). I read that many people find her unemotional and fake. I'm originally from the North, and many Northern people can seem unemotional and fake, whereas it's a cultural mask - and one has to move beyond that. In the beginning, I didn't connect with Saara either, but then I remembered to move beyond the cultural mask. It's difficult to do, but I believe it's worth it with Saara: I'm sure that there's an interesting person behind the mask and she is indeed an awesome singer. Having now seen her sing-off, I'm even surer about the fact that she is worth it: her emotion transpierced the cultural mask and it was fantastic!!

You think 4th impact is good. Yes they are, but it's not mean others not good. 4th didn't win, that's not UK fault. However, 4th had gone really far in the competition. Who voted them to went that far in the competition? Of course Philippine AND UK TOO. About Ivy, she had some problems about visa, she couldn't stay longer in UK. UK doesn't have responsibility for that and also the show can't do anything about that too. Can we give her the visa with reason she is joining X factor? It's LAW, not a Game. Anyway, a lot of people likes them, me too. They are really good and talented. However, they need LUCKY too. If you said Nah, they are good, they HAVE TO WIN. How can the show manager has enough money to give the winner? There are many the good and talented ppl come to the show every year. About Saara, the reason why don't have many ppl vote for her. The Frozen song type has been been done too many times now, it's annoying to many including myself. Her face and personality comes off as cocky to me and I just find her more annoying than anything. This is a competition that not just about vocals, personality is more important. Look at Reggie N Bollie last year.. vocals were not the best, but their personality won the country over. Saara's personality doesn't. Hence the bottom 2

Saara Aalto is really great. She has kind and careing personality, she is a warmhearted artist. And for all those, who think she sang Let It Go in the finnish version of Frozen (iMyourEnd and some others). She didn't, that was Katja Sirkiä. Saara performed the role of Anna, but that is needless to know 😂. She is very talented and loves to sing and perform.

IMO, Saara doesn't deserve to be in the bottom two. But, I actually do understand why. Her vocals are always amazing. But, I have to say it again because it was really demonstrated in this performance. There are fine lines between emoting the message of the song, fighting for your survival, and desperation. The latter overwhelms everything else. Her desperation is really uncomfortable to watch.

I didn't at all feel desperation in this performance; I felt the emotion of the song. So far, I hadn't connected with Saraa, but thanks to this performance and the emotion she expressed I did. If you feel desperation, perhaps that it's because her culture doesn't teach her to express emotion and that you feel she's a little too "rough" in expressing emotion (having had to learn by herself how to express emotion). I know this in my cells, since I'm originally from the North too and have often been misunderstood due to my - Northernly awkward trying to move beyond - expression of emotion. That's an interesting point. I've heard this a lot about the Finnish people not being very emotive. The discussions come up a lot about a show I watch called Salatut Elamat. People outside of Finland, don't get it, and then natives tell us it's a cultural mannerism. So, I guess I see what you're saying about Saara.

Very often, people wont vote for someone because they think they are safe and their vote(s) would be better used on another person they like. Could have been the case here. I would imagine the lifeline votes would be Freddy > Saara > Bratavio. I like the emotion that she puts in, and she has good vocal control and knows her voice very well. That said, I find it slightly (very slightly) annoying, especially when she halts a note for a little too long, but I definitely think she's better than bottom two. Of course xenophobia could be present, but there are other things to look at as a reason before that.

I'm so glad that they added the lifeline vote, even if it didn't help Saara enough in this case. It always used to be an issue where people would be in the bottom 2 because people assumed they were safe and didn't vote for them. It helps to keep deserving people in in case there are big issues. Not sure if Freddy was better than Saara, but he was at least better than Bratavio, so glad to see he made it through.

Actually pretty much everyone in Finland knows she's competing in the x factor. She has participated in almost every singing competition there is in Finland and I think she has gotten first or second in all of them. She also has a album and does stuff in Japan and China since her career hasn't taken off in Finland.

I love Saara Aalto, but I must admit this is the first song where I felt like I connected with her. Sometimes I get the feeling that she is too showy, but this performance made her vulnerable.

it means she can hit the notes in a technical standpoint but she can't keep a consistent, pleasant tune. She kinda like "swaps" the way she sings too much and it makes it sound a bit messy. If you listen this song sung by Sia and right after that you play this you hear it right away. It's not that she can't sing, it's how she sings.

I think she has super star quality since she wakes up mixed emotions and creates opinions and drama around her and above all that she is an amazing singer. That is a very good combo in music business. And what is X-Factor all about? Music business. But also it is for some unknown artists a good platform to get to be more known = also business. Btw Saara Aalto is not that big in Finland. Actually she is not in radio playlists, since she has refused to sing only in Finnish, so majority of our nations 5,6 milj. people do not know her at all. And why not to DREAM BIG? She is a young talented woman who wants to make it internationally. Go Saara!! I was just reading an article in some newspaper about the fact why she isn't played in radio and the radio producers said the reason is that there is not enough audience in Finland for an artist like her. Basically she should make it first abroad and then come back and maybe first then she could make it to the Finnish radio playlists. Or the other alternative is that she should sing only in Finnish... So go figure...
