By far, the most interesting show I have watched on TV. I can remember looking forward each week to the next episode. The characters, the plots, the music, locations were all top notch. Hope to see the show return.

Yes. And the humor, too! Mulder has the Gen X sarcasm & disgust with authority. 😅 I liked the atmosphere in the first 5 seasons, when they shot in Vancouver.

​@@jw200 To me, it is very unprofessional and ungrateful for Gillian to say that in public. She’s old enough to know that never say never. I just think that she’s now into the silly woke thingy going on. The show started in the 90s and it was very pioneering that it doesn’t only cast women as smart and professional, but also includes a lot of concepts that how minorities were unfairly casted as outsiders in the society. In Seasons 11 and 12, a lot of minorities were casted as doctors as well. She knows very well that despite how she much doesn’t like the writing, that should be something to deal with Chris Carter or others OFFLINE. You can see how Chris Carter was heartbroken when he mentioned that Gillian decided to never come back on the show. Seasons 11 and 12 are not perfect, but I am more disappointed on Gillian’s reaction than the writing itself.

How am I reading these words now! 20+ years ago I was fighting with anyone who would listen with my love for Doggett. It's a miracle and shows I was right, and he's even better that his character has longevity like this. Because male roles like his are really missed now.

Really well done interview, typical CC didn't directly answer many of the questions asked but we should expect that from him. I loved "Wolfen" I watched that movie at least 6 times...it would have made a great MOW. I NEVER (repeat that last word) thought that creep CSM had sex with Scully ewwww! I live in my own fan reality, William is Mulder's kid. Between their DNA he received his abilities. I love that he went with "unknowns" in casting GA and DD. I seriously doubt any others could have made XF what it became.

Ew what?!? Who assumed CSM had sex with Scully? That never even crossed my mind. 😂 To me it was always either Mulder or some form of IVF in which CSM could have been involved. But then Frank Spotnitz and CC have since confirmed it was always Mulder, so that’s what I’m sticking with ❤

I Love CC and I will never be able to thank him enough for giving us all The Xfiles- still my favorite show and a show that motivated me to become the scientist I am....but he doesn't understand WHY the fans were deflated by the series finale. It's not because we thought CSM had sex with Scully. It's because he took away that which was the purest connection between Mulder and Scullly and made him just another plot point of CSMs evil. What we wanted with that character was emotional closure in some way and it's not what we got. It really ruined everyone's conception of what William was. I still love the fk out of the show and may it live forever and continue to inspire

That's his exact problem, still believing that the show is the Mulder and Scully show... that narrow-mindedness killed it.
