Nick shares his thoughts on why the show remains so popular with fans new and old, how he feels the crew, producers, and writers were the driving force behind The X-Files staying power, and why he enjoys meeting X-Philes!

Nicholas, you are such a modest gent. You were far from a small cog in the X-files…. Your portrayal of Alex was absolutely magnificent. He was such a dynamically complex character and you gave him so much grit and flesh that he became one of the most important and pivotal in the whole series. You are as responsible as are David, Gillian, Mitch and William, and of course the producers, directors, designers and supporting staff for making the X-files the global phenomenon that it became. One thing I would have liked to see was an episode for the story of Alex in much the same way as was done for C.G.B Spender. So many questions were left about him, his story, origins and what motivated him. What you said in this interview about fans in tough dark times, I can totally relate to that, I recent had to gave surgery but suffered a range of very sever complications and ended up seriously ill. Once I came home I was house bound for weeks but took escape in watching the X-files start to finish twice. And as the first time , still thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much. Perhaps one day I may get meet you and shake your hand.😊

This man is an absolute genius and just pure talent. How can someone be such a hypnotic persona on screen and the very definition of being untrustworthy and fishy, is beyond me. And being so humble and thoughtful as himself is just another part of his greatness. So glad to hear that he has received the praise from the X-fans he truely deservers. If I'd ever meet him, I still couldn't trust him one bit, and that's just one testament more. Thank you Mr. Lea for all those wonderful seasons, respect, from Finland.
