The Xbox VR headset is coming and you can now play xbox vr games on your oculus quest 2. An Xbox vr headset to play gamepass on or even to play it on the meta quest 2 using PCVR is awesome but we now also have news about a secret vr headset from xbox themselves. This is the Xbox cloud gaming vr update we all have been waiting for. This could mean we finally get to play Halo VR and Gears of War VR on quest 2 aswel as the secret Xbox vr Headset and even the upcoming meta quest 3.

@mikeypeinado383 I love it! I only play aaa games on it. Not many, but it's still worth it. I have about 10 games for it. RE7 and Skyrim look incredible. A TV just doesn't seem the same. I definitely replay more of the games for vr than regular game. You get a better sense of size and perspective of the world and surroundings. It got me back into more gaming, honestly.

Lot's of screens and customizable environment as well as other things like customizing ineteractive outilities. This is where vr shine above flatscreen but yea it can be uncomfortable with some headset

Well people don’t always have massive tv’s to get immersed in or the space but only small monitors so to be able to play in a headset with a massive screen in front of you is a plus to a lot of people but yeah it can be a bit uncomfortable and claustrophobic at times depending upon the headset. Additionally you can use programs on pc vr headsets such as vorpx to convert some of these old flat screen games to be in vr pr least 3D - it’s a shame they haven’t done this with the psvr2 - to play some of the standard 2d PlayStation 5 games in 3D/vr would be really cool . Personally I couldn’t go back to flat screen games after experiencing 3D/vr but everyone is different I suppose .

@@paulnicolas172 I play on a 23" screen. As much as I love VR, I also play a lot of 2D AAA games, eg Hogwarts Legacy, RDR2 and the soon to be played Starfield. Its hard to play a fast paced action game in VR as VR requires arm movements while 2D games requires small movements of the mouse and fast keyboard presses., as well as dodging and other mechanics that give me motion sickness in VR. Which is why few people will only play VR. Most will do both.

Never liked PS VR the Quest was better but I don't like Meta. If I could play full Xbox games Xbox games in VR that would be cool Starfield in VR would be awesome or racing and flying games. My problem with VR is they seem to be small games that don't have the story of a console or PC game they are mainly casual drop in drop out games.

@@VRelity Yeah as much as I like "Blade and sorcery" there is on one random dungeon and a few arenas it's good for a quick blast now and then but I get bored of it pretty quickly. However "Blood and Truth" was a decently long game and was good but I felt I was just getting started and then it was over super fun but short lived. Still VR has got nothing on Light guns when it comes to shooting except graphics but that's just because Light gun games are all old SUX there isn't a modern way to play them that's easy to set up. Odd that "Time Crisis" never got a VR remake or even just a straight port it still wouldn't be as good as the old days of welding a light gun but at least it would be the next best thing it's what I miss the most a about 90's gaming.

I have kept commenting on this since the psvr2 was released that Xbox needs to introduce something more immersive than just standard flatscreen games if it wants to compete in the future with Sony but most people disagreed . Glad to see that Microsoft have finally seen the light - just hoping it’s not too late and there vr games will on average be better graphically than Sony so if they can produce a headset better in specs than psvr2 and produce the games on a par or better graphically than the showcase games that came out for the psvr 2 such as horizon then they are surely onto a winner as Sony even though has produced or ported loads of vr titles they haven’t been on a par with the first showcase games and this has put people off purchasing - personally I could never go back to flat screen games after experiencing vr unless they are in cinema mode in a headset but if Microsoft ever do decide to produce one I’d like to see a wider fov and a wireless headset as with most vr headsets I feel like an looking through a pair of goggles into a virtual world rather than being in it . Only thing is the fact that most console vr gamers will have already bought a psvr2 now so who is left to win over for xboxvr as a lot of people who stayed with Xbox prefer flatscreen games anyways ? So that’s a problem . But like most things only time will tell . Thanks for the video .

Microsoft say there is no plan to bring VR to xbox. They own Windows so they already have access to VR through windows on PC. Proper VR users do it on PC the playstation has VR but no 1 really uses it the only people who properly use VR are pc users.

I have no interest in playing Game Pass games using a VR headset as a screen. Microsoft would need a few major VR games if they intend t make a dent in VR. And they need to focus on something that others haven't focused on yet. Make for some truly immersive games with lively towns and people responding properly to what you do and where you look at. Otherwise they'll have just another VR device without actually contributing anything to the VR market as a whole.

I doubt that a VR headset will ever be made for Xbox, Phil Spencer has already stated many times he and Microsoft have no interest in having VR for Xbox consoles, there is no need for it, there is PCVR for PC, with VR headsets such as the Quest 2 and the upcoming Quest 3 supporting that platform, Phil said that he doesn't want to promote a VR headset for Xbox consoles, because the product will most likely flop, with the technology for VR, that has a long way to go and isn't quite there yet, he doesn't want to follow what Sony has done with Playstation with their PSVR and PSVR 2, I will always prefer PC gaming and Playstation over Xbox, because the Xbox brand doesn't offer anything new and exciting and has been boring and stale for years, with PC gaming and PlayStation around, who needs Xbox? Xbox is useless and pointless now

I think they learned a hard lesson after pushing the Kinect for 2 generations. It was and still is a remarkable piece of hardware given the price and yet it flopped miserably, both times. So I understand but this is 1) not a Xbox only feature. 2) VR is here to stay. 3) sooner or later they will have to at least make it compatible with some VR headset, why not meta? I can play Flight Sim on my computer using a VR headset but not on my Xbox series X. Which is sad when they can make it happen and don’t even have to produce, or market the needed hardware. Seems like a win win situation, out of all of Phil’s decisions this one is befuddling

Just like all the nonsense crap that was coming out about the ps5 slim being a new machine internally and there wont be a disc version it will be a stand alone sold separately CD drive (that they even had b/s pictures of and it was all total rubbish? ,you may well be right and to be honest it seems stupid if they dont but we will see but there isnt anything saying they will apart from you lot who dont really know do you?
