I hadn’t seen a curvv on the road very closely. Happened to see it in flesh today. Bloody so similar both of them are. The shiny black finish around the wheels etc.

Maketing lens - Mahindra doesnt have specific set of products to appeal to Genz and beyond. Hence this cool bold audacious move towards creating an aspirational brand and showcase the youth of the umbrella brand 'Mahindra'

What a leader this man is. Branding brain behind Scorpio, XUV500. The disaster era of mahindra between 2012 to 2017, he was working his magic as president at the tractor division, now he’s taking mahindra to new heights. Could call him Lee Iacocca of modern times

Frankly speaking M&M could have just stuck to BE brand. It is such a great sounding brand. It is only confusing to have XEV brand in the mix.

BE branding is for highly performance oriented. They will launch 700 bhp vehicles in the future.

Investors were hoping for a flagship model that could compete head-to-head with industry leaders like Tesla and Rivian. Companies such as BYD and Xpeng have been pushing the envelope by introducing advanced technologies and higher levels of autonomous driving in their flagship models. However, Mahindra's new offerings reportedly feature only Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities, including basic functions like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist. In contrast, many competitors are advancing towards Level 4 autonomy, offering more sophisticated self-driving features. 💡 Technology Gap Another point of concern is the lack of proprietary chip technology. Tesla and Rivian have developed their own chips to enhance performance, enable seamless software updates, and support advanced functionalities. Mahindra's reliance on standard automotive chips might limit their ability to innovate rapidly and keep up with software advancements. Feedback also suggests that the software experience in Mahindra's EVs feels somewhat outdated, lacking the intuitive and futuristic interfaces that modern consumers have come to expect.

Please look at the suspension noise in the XUV 700 which Mahindra have not been to resolve or maybe do not have the willingness to do so after somuch of persuance with the dealers

We don't have many 180kW chargers in the network in India. Mahindra's stance of staying out of the charging business puts onus on third parties to improve capacity, but I am curious to see how that will pan out. For a country like India, that is a lot of power. Also, I am curious about the subscription costs for these vehicles for the connected features.
