Honestly, I completly love this year's Christmas boxes! I love playing with balanced tanks. Marking them is usually way funnier than some OP shi*s. Maybe some players miss OP tanks there, but in my opinion it is good like this. Especially for game health. Also keep in mind that you should think about thanks in the boxes just like a bonus and not main selling point.

For example, i would rather play turtle 1 or ts-5 then that weird tank destroyer. I rather play something like a bisconte or even caernavon then the type 63 because its lack off dpm. Rather have the bour then the gsor. And it goes on like that

@@helixyt5792 I see your point, but that would mean, that in order for some some new premium tank to be interesting for you it would need be better than the tanks made few years ago... Meaning that premium tank's strength would raise up together with player's demand for better tanks. I think that it's fine that they made the tank balanced, since they are still all playable. It's not like they would be bad or something... But still you can be sure, that WG will release another OP premium tank sure in some different event :) Also, when you said that you would rather play than Turtle or TS I can also understand that, but me personally speaking, I would prefer the new tank because it seems a bit worse than them. Meaning that It will be harder to play it... So actually marking and understanding the tank would be more rewarding for me.

It's good that WG is adding more balanced premium tanks to the game. The issue is that unless they nerf the BZ to bring it in line with every other tank in the game then any tank they release is going to be considered shit in comparison.

Nerfing one premium tank will only starts a new trend towards WT path. Just create more counter super heavie premiums with decent speed good gun, and 225+ armor also medium with turret armor like type 59. So that the the classes are actually separated and engaging instead of creating something in the middle or another sniper/hulldown boring tank. But good on them for not selling that troublemaker again.

@@Electromagneticuranium I would argue some tanks truly need it. Just nerfing the Bz's gun flap to 35mm would greatly balance the tank. But I also think it's hesh should have less pen than the AP(ala caliban) maybe 190?. Those two things could and should be done. If a premium is so unbalanced as to break the game entirely it really should be considered a viable option. Bourrasque could get a 2.5 interclip. Progetto could lose the inbuilt gun rammer. Etc. all of these are fair and not too far, IMO. But opinions are different.

i have the same tank on wot console and, unlike pc, it has turbo mode, giving it the ability to reach 45 km/h (without any engine / speed modules). using the speed boost makes u able to just get in the frontline quickly in the maps that allow it or run away when getting swarmed in a bad position

personaly i absolutely love this tank...i aced it in about 15 games and i came to same conclusion for the gameplay. With my e3 crew and field mods with normal equipment it is just owesome.

I like this tank. How I play it is i go with the heavies and stay a little in the back, like a semi heavy support tank. And it really does do his job like that. Imagine you play a French autoloader

In a way yes... TS-5 gun handling is not comfortable at all (angles). In that way this machine is better. But if I choose this or the Turtle,,,,, id have the Turtle. But this has more accurate gun. So I guess the XF66m sits right in the middle.

At least I got this one and not GSOR, that's about all I can say :s You haven't mentioned the biggest weakness, which is the hitpoints. It's often the case you die in 3 shots, which is the survivability of lights or paper meds. And deffinitely there's something wrong with its cupolas, I would guess the height of the tank plays a role, due to normalization it"s almost impossible to bounce.

It sounds like you experienced the typical sniper TD gameplay. Either you sit in a bush hoping for an opportunity to fire or you're firing constantly as your position gets over-run. I did think it would be an assault TD. From your experience, I'll save my money and play the TS5 instead.

Watching all 4 videos, did the BZ-176 overpower even the tank design team? Why is the entire hull a weakspot? They do know lower plates are enough right? It's like the BZ trauma hit WG with confusion. It was super effective. You don't have to smack weak spots on something like it's a pinata at a child's birthday party either. I was excited but, yeah I don't know now.

Well, the BZ was included in the lootboxes this year too and WG removed it and slapped the Obj 752 instead. I'm pretty sure the CCs were quite angry and let WG know about what the community thought about the BZ again in the lootboxes this year. The tanks offered are 6/10 at best this year. There's nothing worth mentioning. The Tiger Maus is a huge XP pinhata, easy to get set on fire, this american TD has less armor than what many thought (230 mm of EA is trash, I knew this from the very beginning) and just aiming left to the gun is a penetration with 255+ pen. The Type 63 has an interesting mechanic but the DPM is tragic, you could get a T-832 and do the same.

And Now when they made actually decent balance tanks which is good for the game then the players want the full course meal again, and they want even more. Like we have a saying in our language, "When you offered someone food, now they want to sleep". That's the case.

The Japanese heavy kinda looks good, but made good points why one could just take a competitive medium instead. Tiger Maus, Object and this xm66 thing all look like trash. Really bad value.

Looking on Tanks gg this one seems almost like a Tortoise, except the hull is cheese. So this tank needs both a hull down position and a right side wall. The left cupola is smaller and there's no 240mm "weakspot" next to the gun mantlet. It's a bit too situational, but I could see from the footage that the gun is quite nice. 400 alpha and ~3.2kDPM with Rammer/Vents/Food seems really good for a Tier VIII. Overall it seems properly balanced... P.S. ShPTK is going to eat this one for LUNCH the moment it gets its side or rear with that goddamn cupboard behind the tank.

The biggest problem we faced with being hull down in this tank is that the gun is placed very close to the hull. So when you have lines on the enemy, they can oftentimes see your hull, even if it feels like you're entirely hull down.
