Jimmy was so amazing and so much more of a talent then the rest of the band, the Yardbirds probably had no idea (not to take anything away from them) of what was to come of Jimmy Page in the future.

For God's sake, The Yardbirds were one of the best bands ever, and they had talent galore... not least having first Clapton and then Beck as their lead player, achieving much more success than when Jimmy joined for their last breaths.

​@@jorgeperez9842 actually Jimmy was in the band as the lone guitarist from October of 66 until July of 68 that's almost two years hardly the last breaths of the band when they done like three tours after Jeff left or maybe four so you don't have a clue what you're jabbering about
