Okay-I remember this song---- thanks-that hofner and Epiphone rivioli were the bass's of the British Invasion

Back in the mid/late '60s I played a Gibson EB2 (essentially the same as a Rivoli), then I traded it for a new '66 Hofner. I loved both, but the difference was the Hofner was much better (volume-wise) up the neck, otherwise the two sounded almost identical. I give the playability nod to the Gibson, because it can be finger-picked, whereas the Hofner almost demands a pick. Thanks!!
