So whats the point of burning man?
@mahalomydude11 ай бұрын
The aim is to explore how a society that utilizes a gifting economy and follows the 10 principles could exist! There’s also a large emphasis on art, helping out your neighbours, and playful self expression.
@BodieMTB9 ай бұрын
rich kids want to feel what its like to do mushrooms for a week while pretending to "trade for economy" while their parents literally run the economy. Straight up rich kids playground, those people with RV's spent upwards for 50k USD JUST TO BRING THE RV. 10k for the tent reservations lol this isn't an "accessible experience" and its not about how we would "utilize a gifting economy" 90% of the things that are "gifted" we brought in and purchased before hand lmao thats not how a gifting economy would work at all. But too many drugs for these people to realize they literally are practicing the opposite of a gift giving economy. They are ONLY even able to go to burning man because of their capitalistic abilities (their money). The "regular" people their also simply lie about who they are, they pretend they arent rich then go home to an apartment in Manhattan... make it make sense lmao

Maybe some of the participants do leave trash, but did you know there's a whole crew of volunteers that's stays several weeks after to clean up? It may not be ideal, but it IS actively trying to leave no trace. How about you?

its literally just a rich kids playground, 90% of the people their are industry and hollywood kids trying to feel something in their empty lives. Some of us got this outta our system when we were 17 years old experimenting with out buddies while partying out on the beach or in the woods. These are a bunch of 30yr old drug infatuated weirdos lol
