Definitely the Arena Games: Take away flying mounts, cornering, and more technical/speedy transition skills (and add in hotel quarantine and inability to train to full capacity) and you get an incredible glimpse into LCB's short course potential. No doubt Lucy can easily hone these skills with more experience so this race left me extremely excited for what's to come.... And in pure Lucy style, she did not disappoint!! Most exciting race of 2021 for me.

The best race was the 70.3 World Championship at St. George! In my opinion, that race was perfectly executed from start to finish and your competitors could not get anywhere near you. Wishing you all the best for your races in 2022! Go Lucy! 💪🏊♀🚴♀🏃♀

I think my favourite race of yours to watch was the 1500m Olympic trials! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and it was incredible seeing you beat some of the best swimmers in the country. It was quite unexpected which made it so interesting to watch! 🐶🏊♀💪

The coolest race of yours this year was when you destroyed everyone at the 70.3 World Championship! 💪🏼😎

My favourite, in a weird way, was Miami. That race and the penalties etc, can LITERALLY make-or-break a season. You can either let frustration and anger set in, or you can accept it and come back stronger which you most definitely did. With all the youth out there watching you, too, that day was a perfect example of being a true professional. Well done, Lucy! 👏

My favourite was the Collins Cup. I know she worked so hard for her team and it was great to see them win! Lucy had the best split for the swim (obviously lol) and she looked amazing on her bike. I know she had some problems on the bike and run legs but I couldn't tell watching from home. That's how well she was able to cope under pressure and under the weather. (quite literally for this rainy race) She won her race, gaining points for her team and it was so fun to watch with the point system as well! It motivated me a lot to compete for myself as well as for other people on my team. :)

I don’t wanna be cliche but the 70.3 world championship was the most legendary one!!! It just change my mentality to an a competition level when Lucy said that she only brought a red dress to the final day press… A dress that only the winner could wear it! This is what Lucy and this Chanel teach us every video!!! That is the mentality we should have.

My absolute favourite was the Ironman 70.3 World Championships at St. George. I watched via the KZbin channel. You didn't put a foot wrong the entire day. My over-riding thoughts were: 1. "Now Lucy has all 3 engines (swim, bike & run) precisely where they need to be". And 2. "Holy C#+p! What would the gap be to second place if this was a full Ironman?" HUUUUUGE congratulations!

Firstly because I have been following her for years and seen how much hard work she has put into winning it, it must have meant everything when she crossed that finishing line. Also she was so dominant throughout the whole race that it just showed what a amazing athlete she is. Mainly it has inspired me to never give up, keep working on my goals until I get them. For me it has to be the 70.3 World Champs. I remember watching from start to finish the race and to see the culmination of all your hard work finally realised. It not only meant a British woman being on the top of the podium but as someone that is proud to be British, it brought emotion and tears as you ran down the final 100m. It was truly inspirational and motivational at a time of uncertainty in our lives, to the extent that at the age of 57 I want to do my first 70.3 and to look to help others to realise their potential whatever that may be and at whatever age.
