On top of that (while nowhere near as impressive as the other three) the Pittsburgh penguins also had a comeback in the eastern conference finals that year while being down 3-2 in the series against the lightning before winning the Stanley cup meaning that all 4 major sports leagues had their Champion complete a comeback of some type during their run.

Not to mention Leicester City's incredible Premier League Championship. Chris Buescher's win at Pocono 2016 was the longest shot to ever win a NASCAR race in Las Vegas sports book history at 1,000 to 1. Matt Ryan's MVP campaign had the lowest odds on record (couldn't find anything before 2008). At the beginning of the season, he was tied with Blake Bortles, Brock Osweiler, and Tyrod Taylor at 66 to 1 odds. +500,000 odds that Leicester City would win it all +100,000 odds that Chris Buescher would win the Pocono NASCAR race +6,600 odds that Matt Ryan would win the NFL MVP +1,100 odds that the Patriots would come back from a 28-3 deficit +1,100 odds that the Cavaliers would come back from a 3-1 deficit +800 odds that the Cubs would come back from a 3-1 deficit If you had bet $100 payouts on each of these, you would have made...................give me a sec to do the math..........$609,600. That's a 101,500x ROI (return on investment). And that's not a parlay, those are just individual bets. If you HAD done a parlay at the same price of $600, you would have made approximately 261 trillion dollars. Yes, that's right. $261 TRILLION. 5001 x 1001 x 67 x 12 x 12 x 9 = 431,681,078,832 (as the multiplier) 431,681,078,832 x $600 bet = $260,808,647,299,200 Obviously, no one in their right mind would ever bet on that, no bookmaker would ever take that bet, and those odds were all from different times in 2016. But still, those odds are fucking wild, and you'd be hard pressed to find any other year where you could manufacture a billion dollar bet, let alone a 260 trillion dollar bet from six events within it's calendar year.

add to that Portugal winning Euro 2016, the very first time in their history. Odds were +1000 before the tournament started. Hell, the odds might have gone even higher during it because they drew their first 2 games of the group stage and were on the verge of being eliminated.

5:45 I mean, the Patriots never had a close Super Bowl loss when Belicheck and Brady were manning the ship. But losing to the '85 Bears 46-10 and 35-21 in Favre's only Super Bowl win definitely weren't.

The only thing wrong is that Superbowl 51 took place in February of 2017 as the NFL at the time had most of their regular games played in previous year, expect for Week 17 games around new years and the playoffs in the following year with the Superbowl in the following year. Although now their is a week 18 to add an additional game and pushing everything back like a week on the calendar.
