Maybe adidas wanted more feet friendly versions. Wider toe box = more feet friendly. Our feet shouldn’t narrow going towards the toes. I still like the original design as well though.

I honestly don’t think the new mold on the foam runners is anything new. I have 3 pairs, Ararats, MX cream clay, & MX cinders and I definitely see a difference in the shapes of them. I used to have the onyx pair as well and thought those looked different from the Ararats & Mx cream flags as well

Got my Mx granite pair today too and compared em to the sands like you did. That’s crazy 😂and yeaa the toe box got like an extra space added on. Can also see a difference in the holes because of it

I feel like this is more of a phenomenon because of everything happening with Ye and Adidas. When I first got my Foam Rnrs from adidas a couple years ago, I compared them with someone I worked with because he got his for resell. They were definitely different shapes. They had a lot of inconsistencies between the two pairs. I then seen a pair being sold at a local higher end sneaker shop for resale. I compared them to my pair and same thing. It seems all Foam Rnrs are all different in their own ways. Probably depending on how it cures and all of that. But I can definitely confirm this was an issue way before Ye and Adidas fell out.

I'm glad you pointed that out because that's what I don't like about the other foam runners. I got really wide toes cause I'm a surfer these are Asian exclusive because they have very wide feet they take their shoes off at the door their bare feet as much as they are in shoes, so that's why it's got a wide toe Box do it if those are 11 I'll pick them up off you if you wanna sell them.

I seen a on-foot look and it looks like someone stomped out the shape of the toebox, no wonder Adidas want those to go. 😂😂😂 Also I noticed that on the engraving on the inside of the MX Granite, it now says “FOAM RNR” instead of “FOAM RNNR” like every other pair, including the previously released MX Cinder.

I can said only one thing. Looks like the people only was buying the Yeezy shoes because Kanye was behind of the design. Because i remember when the first foam runners came out all the KZbinrs were saying good compliments about them now because no more Kanye behind them the shoes are sitting.
