Does anyone remember that creepy white character that would hide in the background sometimes and had a sad look on his face? I remember this one night I stayed the night with my friend years ago (literally almost a decade ago yikes I feel old) and she had Direct Tv and I was envious bc she had all the channels I didn't, so it was like midnight and that was late for my age. I was like 11-12 and I was flipping thru channels bc she was asleep and I wasn't so I changed the channel to Nick Jr bc Yo Gabba Gabba was on and I liked the show. It was in the middle of an episode and Brobee was singing a song about a party I think, and that fucking dude was in the background and made me jump when it zoomed in on him walking around in the background. something that i find interesting is how muno started out as vent art since christian jacobs is blind in one eye and to vent his frustrations he started drawing cyclops characters as a teenager. they carried on in the aquabats where they had two versions (the one in the super rad video was named cyclopfenstein, and they had another one named cyclopsis in 1999) and then the design was turned into muno! brobee and gooble are also recycled aquabats characters, proto-brobee was called weedy the broccoli bee. (that's why his name is brobee ;) ) and proto-gooble was called obakemon.

gooble was originally going to be one of the main-characters of the show! he looked more like a traditional ghost in his old design for the show, but ended up getting made with an old muno costume (which resembled gooble's og form as an aquabats character, obakemon) since they couldn't afford to make the other one at the time! and you were on the right track with the aquabats character- the character was called cyclopfenstein! there was even another muno-esque character called cyclopsis! muno was 100% modelled off of them all, and brobee was also modeled off of an old aquabats villain called weedy the broccoli bee. it's been confirmed that weedy is actually brobee's dad and it's also been theorized that cyclopsis/cyclopfenstein are related to muno. to add onto my aquabats tangent, adam deibert, music director for the show and voice of muno also used to play in the aquabats! i am infodumping quite a lot but i'm a hardcore aquabats fan as well as a fan of yo gabba gabba! nice video! sorry for the infodump 😂

Another thing I think you could add to the iceberg is Devo's cameo. What's weird about it is that their performance of "Watch us Work It" is radically different from the official album version, with a very weird autotune filter and "phone synth". Also I just think it's funny that a band from the 80's would make a cameo on a late 2000's kids show, especially one with such political messages.

As kid born in 2000, I felt I was too old to watch this show. However, I do remember watching an episode or two. What I remember the most is that they made a guest appearance on another live action sitcom! They were stuck inside a closet or room with the main characters, and actually help them escape.

I remember the toothfairy episode where it had the mini story segment of the character having bad cavities, and for some reason that traumatized me. It made me worry over my teeth, which was a good thing, but my teeth still turned out fucked in the end and now I'm getting braces in a few months so oops. That, and basically any kids show that had an episode talking about the human body would freak me out of as a kid 💀
