actually in terms of controlling it the real moon landers were even easier than tat for the pilots, it was all either completely autonomous controlled by the navigational computer or sent instructions from Earth. @@AlecazamAlecazam

In all seriousness, the fact that not only did simon and duncan managed to crash their pods into the moon, even though there was a prompt telling them to hold the space bar, but that lewis managed to do it right, but forgot his freaking oxygen tanks and sufficated before the pod even landed. If there was anything in common with them, it’s that they were not yet ready for space.
