This just made my day. 👍 The character Sekitori, the retired sumo wrestler, was played by real life sumo wrestler Ryuke Seiho. He died in 2014 at age 73 of a heart attack.

I had the impression that he truly was a "Sekitori" Sumo wrestler from the start probably due to his enormous size, and I say that with no disrespect. What impressed me more is his talent for acting and ability to project his character well. Sad to hear about his passing in 2014.
