I can personally attest... Chris is a wonderful human being. I'm blessed to have gotten to know him these past several months and just sit and talk guitar and life in general (he lives about 30 minutes down the road from me). I have so much respect for him. Just a small town Kentucky boy, thrust into a rock n roll world. He's a humble, caring a giving person. And the boy can play guitar like it's nobody's business.

What a great guy. I'm not religious but I love that people can find strength through a religion or music. We're all human, we all face tough times and we all deal with them differently. Chris and Black Stone Cherry rock \m/

I don't align with any religion or the supernatural, myself, but Chris Robertson is one of my favorite singers and it's awesome that he's gone through his dark period and come out a better person, regardless of what path got him there.

Just listen to what you have said is so mind blowing! I pray that you count on the lord to help you through the hard days because he is the one that will always be there for you! I discovered your band recently and I think you guys are awesome! The first time I heard about you guys was the song things my father said! WOW. 66 years old and you had me crying on controlling! Praise the lord keep on rocking and always know there are so many that love you and are there for you! You can always count on Jesus!

This is kind of crazy. Ironially enough, I used to be your Security man back stage whenever you guys came to Rockford. I have been where you were Chris, and I still have my days. There are nights when I go to sleep and literally dont want to wake up. For people that havent had to deal with this, the struggle is very real. It does not just go away as simple as it may sound. The one thing for sure that has prevented me from anything foolish is the problems and unanswered questions, like you said Chris, that would be left behind for my friends and family to try to answer. I wish you and your family all the best Chris. Pass some love on to Ben, John and John Fred for me. Keep on rockin!! Rob

For those that don't believe, and make fun of God and spiritual things - do you not see these same stories over and over? People who are miserable, unhappy, fully of depression, suffer with addictions, etc. break down and ask God to make Himself known - and feel the power of something that they can't describe? And it changes their life? I guess you would call them delusional, or maybe just experiencing a psychological release, much like going to a therapist. But I'll tell you its much more than that. God is real, and its not until you embrace that fact, humble yourself to believe that, and seek/follow Him that things will begin to get better. Everyone struggles with something, and a relationship with God doesn't make everything go away. It simply allows you to know that everything will be ok, He is walking with you, and you'll get thru it.

It saved me I think sometimes the feelings fade but I never forget when I found God and now it kills me seeing my ex fiancee but girlfriend again talk about suicide and how she cant believe in God still wanna marry her. God willing and with my help and hers maybe one day. The key is hope. Unfortunately I found God on shrooms which are relatively harmless but that was the one thing that made me feel spiritual for the first time since childhood

Fame, fortune and money is a temporary thing, even successful bands have anything they could ever want, but to be truely happy comes from within you,not material things..
