my 2 cents on this drama. 1. it's a Xuanyi/Yuxian plot, names changed coz there's like a billion remake already with the actual Xuanyi/Yuxian name used. now, while i basically enjoy a Xuanyi/Yuxian plot, this really missed out on the points i liked about that particular plotline - how Xuanye is extremely gentle when dealing with Yuxian, and ruthless when dealing with anyone not Yuxian. Especially the ones bullying Yuxian. I mean, the *you take care of this* line towards his younger cousin doesn6really cut it for me. i like my Xuanyi a lot more ruthless than they made him here. also, for a 7mo preggy lady carying triplets, you have a very small tummy, like are you carrying babies the size of a mouse? how is it you bled - like blood-pooling-a-lot-under-her bleeding when you just knelt down, on your own kind you, to wipe the floor but did not bleed so much as a tiny, miniscule drop when you get pushed while everyone and their momma humiliated and belittled you at the party? make it make sense!🤣🤣🤣🤣 2. unless this is really how their society works, these dramas are painting a very negative picture for the rich, the middle class and the poor in China. like these are showing as long as you have more financial capacity than the other person you can bully and treat them as slaves/subhuman anytime and anywhere you want. 3. can we stop having so called poor FLs who have better acrylic/polygel nails with the requisite nail art than other ladies casted as the richer girl? like these FLs are supposedly scrimping as much as they could for their tuition or rent or next meal or medicine/hospital bills. why in the world are they going to spend it at a nail salon getting acrylics or nail art? i have never seen a cleaner, maid, street vendor even surgeons with uber blinged out nails. maybe if you work at the salon coz that's the nature of your business but other than that? not really. sorry its a pet peeve. like FL will act woe-is-her but when the camera catches her hand, you'd see studs and gems and whatnot on her nails. yeah. poor you, you only have gradient manicure. get some polygels on your next visit or try the magnetized polish for a change. 😅😅😅😅 4, grand parties galore but you have less than 15 people attending. class reunion, i repeat, CLASS reunion, but you have like 5-8 people in the table. did they attend an uber private school with limited head count per class? 😂😂😂😂😂 anyway. in all versions i have seen, this is just slightly better than the Chai Huixin version. at least they only spent abt 15 mins or so humiliating the FL, Chai Chai spent almost 85% of the entire drama getting beaten and humiliated.
