This would make a great cartoon for our black babies. If they can watch Mulan they can definitely watch this. You do a excellent job. Black encyclopedias because now is the best time to sit and read and get enlightened with the truth.
@yolandacomito4 жыл бұрын
What does enlighten by the truth mean? Does it mean that Europeans don’t have a culture or that they don’t have a history of their own?
@yanice22484 жыл бұрын
anonymous person no i don’t think that’s what that means. for a very long time african history has been hidden, altered, destroyed, or not taught. this denied people of african decent the knowledge of Africa and having the misconceptions and others version of our history be our own. so when they say the truth it simply means knowing our own history for what it is.
@yolandacomito4 жыл бұрын
littydonut ohhhh yeah i get what youre saying. But in Europe we studied the African history that mainly affected us like for example the Moors, the Egyptians and etc... but yeah i get what you mean. It would be great learning about your history :)
@yanice22484 жыл бұрын
anonymous person yea and it’s so unfortunate :/ i get learning about how africa affected your country but when you take people from africa (slaves) and deny them their own history it’s like stripping someone from their roots and heritage. A lot of non african descendants know where they come from and their family history, but we do not.. it only starts at slavery for us and even then we don’t know our own slavery ancestors
@yolandacomito4 жыл бұрын
littydonut oh yeah :| it didn’t really happen with the natives because they know more history about themselves than blacks but yeah I get what you’re saying.

This is frustrating. Africa has a diverse, strict and unique culture that makes us stand out from the world. We have no pride and confidence in ourselves. The white folks has seriously done a number on us.

I believe it was Dr. John Henrik Clarke who said, "The problem isn't that white people told the African that he was ugly; the problem is that we BELIEVED it." There's no way pale people who only comprise of about 10% of the world's population should hold so much control over the other 90%. We *over-due* for a revolution. 💫(I'm Black American, by the way.)
@adamesegbue75364 жыл бұрын
@@harrisre-nee3017 Bro time and again whatever movement or decision we try to make almost never work unless it appeals to white people. Look at Martin Luther King vs Malcom X. Or the Black Panthers. My point is somehow they have made in a way that whatever is "good" for them is considered fair and good for everyone else. If you think I am lying study south America Brazil in particular.
@harrisre-nee30174 жыл бұрын
@@adamesegbue7536 I'm a woman.😉 But I agree. Again the problem is not *them*; history has shown us how they operate. The problem is OUR psychological enslavement and our incessant addiction to white approval. Why do we still listen to them? Why do Black ppl still care about what their OPPRESSOR thinks about anything?? Until we finally decide to disentangle ourselves from them for good, and focus on building our own, we'll continue to lose. Period.💫
