I hate to tell you all, but we all are being "sold" off in one way or another, you have your eye's closed and ears blocked. You are a commodity, like gold, silver, OJ, and bacon just to name a few. If all the women or men decided one day not to go to work and stop working, what would happen? unemployment would not exist, the rate of pay would increase because of demand. You think you have freedom, you don't. For some reason, women must enter the workforce and compete against men. Why, so the government, corporations and the bankers can use you as work slaves competing against the opposite sex, that is not the sole factor in the division of people. The presidents of the corporations make hundreds of thousands of dollars as the worker bees make table scrape pay.

Mrs.Interviewer trying so hard to show them oppressed cause they don't fit in the western ("modern") life circle and don't know why these wannabe feminist don't mind women being sold to brothels and human trafficking and elites bid on them but would make a documentary out of young groom and bride wannabes captioning it (Young virgins Bulgaria bride market) God Damn you and all your kinds Mrs.Interviewer. 18:27 Strong women , Really !! what makes you strong losing your virginity, acting like a dumb hoe in parties, getting drilled by random guys, i'd like to burst your bubble girl, They are the strong women whom respect themselves and their bodies and keep themselves clean for their one and only and don't go around having one night stands. 4:58 your freedom which you take granted is your culture why don't you accept the amount of freedom they have as their culture, 6:14 you grabbed the opportunity to make them feel they're missing on life and you pity them guess what eventually so called modern girls also end up as housewives in their life so are the men as husbands, btw i do think they shouldn't be deprived of education. After what you said at 8:10 the reply you got at 8:18 where are the subtitles when the girl was probably calling you cheap. 10:26 introducing a porn star to them as queen MIND BLOWN. 12:23 i bet you presumed that they can't leave their house and whats wrong in having fun with your family and ignoring getting groped in some night club. 17:04 what actually hits you is they aren't into threesomes and in the end 20:28 you worry about them serving future husband but okay with a graduated women (monica) serving Bill clinton from under the table HMMMMMM

Lawman It's not about what's better. It's about having the choice. If I want to stay a virgin until I'm married then I can do that. If I want to have fun at parties and explore my sexuality then I can do that. Plenty of women in the west do stay virgins until they're married, plenty don't. These girls don't get to decide. That's why it's wrong. (And personally I wouldn't want to marry someone without having sex, specifically because it's important and you might just not be sexually compatible. What if I want to have sex every day and they only want to do it once a week? What if I like a lot of foreplay and they don't? What if I love oral sex but they hate it? If you don't work sexually someone's gonna end up unhappy.)

I hate the argument "It's just their culture, it's traditional", who gives a fuck if it's a tradition it's still disgusting to treat woman like less than human, it doesn't matter where in the worst it is. Men and woman should be held to the same standards, if you expect a woman to stay a virgin until marriage then you should expect men too as well. 17:04 what actually hits you is they aren't into threesomes and in the end 20:28 you worry about them serving future husband but okay with a graduated women (monica) serving Bill clinton from under the table HMMMMMM

there are so many things you dont understand for me to explain and i d need to rewatch to tell you exact points(for ex min 19.00 to end >at the market girls are sold and bid on,the girls are hapy the day went by w/o being sold off.I cant believe these girls are raised to serve their husbands)) This is my opinion from her interviews and especialy one i know well the romanian witches where the ceremony was STAGED and the so called magic ritual was more of an old womans country folk tradition/superstition Its not that witches dont exist but she misrepresented it .As for this one this is not a fairy to sell brides .Gypsies buy the wife in general fairy or not .in the past they could "marry"the children even at age 2 it was more of an arangement among parents Or they would buy a child when they moved from place to place (but the actual mariage hapens once they are old enough and that would be 12,13,14 it depends These gypsies are more emanicipated and the fairy is a gathering place where they can socialize and show their looks.its not the only place of course .i m not saying there is anything wrong in being maried a virgin (gypsies ethics is a bit of a complicated matter though) you said>"they submit to the tradition just because they have no other choice, but if they were able to they'd probably go to school and be free with their sexuality instead of being kept virgins until marriage." see thats what hapens when something is misrepresented Is not a lie but neither the whole truth . Gypsie boys can go to school no tradition doesnt allow them to go but they just usually dont (bcoz they find no use /purpose given their ways of life and the jobs they ll hold,eventhough lately they increasingly go) .This however has NOTHING TO DO with virginity.Had they gone to school they d still be expected to remain virgins Thats not just a gypsie tradition its how things were in most (not all) ex communist east block cities Respectable girls stayed virgins till marriage which was after finishing school thus minimum 18yrs old,and then into uni when some of them married (Now its not the case nomore)Gypsie women usually maried very early thus holding virginity wasnt a hard task This seems a respectable gypsie family thus (bcoz they live in Bulgaria influenced by the local population and not for ex in Egypt)they keep their daughters till a bit older. Marriage is a major event in gypsies life Perhaps the most important event They throw huge costly parties that can last 3days Its a matter of prestige btw the mariage event and the gifts the bride receives are exhibited to the guests and its a matter of pride for the family , not a sell off That may seem semantics to you but to me is a diferent world for ex >for who is the market controversial?she said they bid on them (no).that they are sold off at the market (major BS )this is a feast not a sell market as you can see the girls are happy to go i did a google search.kalaji bride market, and there is nothing except this documentary, so i dunno which western media sais gypsies sell women like slaves

ChocFiend do some research before you speak, will you? No Indian, boy or girl, gets married without THEIR consent. Also you might’ve noticed having a good education and a good job is very important to Indians. People over there tend to focus on their careers en their dreams before thinking of marrying. Parents might suggest a potential partner, but it’s TOTALLY up to you if you want to marry that person. In modern day India, if there is a mutual interest from the guy and girl they go on dates with each other to get to know each other better, like in any other part of the part. The only difference is that your parents suggest and like this person and after that it’s up to you to get to know each other better and think about a future together.
@sc34655 жыл бұрын
ChocFiend even more so, this culture or arranged marriages is slowly dying out. It might be present for a while in the poorer areas of India, but even in those communities arranged marriage rates are decreasing.

Bulgarians don't sell women! Those are gypsies living in Bulgaria, not Bulgarians. Gypsies are not europeans either, centuries ago they moved into Europe as the nomadic people they are. Originally, gypsies are from north of India. "Roma (Gypsies) originated in the Punjab region of northern India as a nomadic people and entered Europe between the eighth and tenth centuries C.E. Gypsies on the other hand have been here much longer time, yet they resisted to assimilate into their host culture and cause only problems, like the muslims in Western Europe who make enclaves of their own group , culture, religion - a country in the country. This is an absolutely abnormal and unnatural way of existence. There are plenty of arguments as to why multiculturalism can never work.. even without considering the differences between races and their respective characteristics.

People wonder why society is decaying because women no longer want to raise their children they want somebody else to do it. Then you have men that bought into the same lies that no longer think taking care of their wife is a priority so they cheat, stray, or not even merry the women they knocked up. None of them were looking for husband , and none of my Bulgarian girls would be okay with putting a price tag on them. Seeing something like that really really hurts. That is wrong thing to let that tradition exist in 21 st century , in county that is actually a part of EU. This is basically a human trafficking, and government/society just ignores the fact that it’s violating of human rights. @@katerynachai6343 the government is doing a lot. There are thousand of projects/initiatives for Roma/gypsy integration, offering free high education, scholarships, etc. Roma people refuse to become a part of society no matter what. They marry, have 5+ children and through them drain the social welfare. They rarely have stable jobs and there are notorious for robbing people, abusing and raping women and murdering for money. Look up how many cases there are of gypsies breaking into poor old people's houses, beating them up and taking the last penny they have. Fair is fair though, Kalaidzhi people are more civilized with the exception of these bride markets. There are not something Bulgaria is proud of and many people are campaigning for their prohibition. To be frank, there are a fair amount of people who don't care for them anymore because they are fed up with gypsies. I know the west looooooves to meddle in everything and campaign for shit they know nothing about so let me say this - gypsies aren't mistreated. They are terrorising everybody else. And before somebody asks how a minority can terrorise a majority - most gypsies don't have official documents so they are not counted into the percentage of the ethnicity. They are quickly becoming majority.

Calm down "real Bulgarians", with Bulgarian they just mean people who live in the country Bulgaria. They usually used "Kalaidzhi" and clearly never said that this is a Bulgarian tradition. We all understand that these are minorities that don't follow Bulgarian laws / common cultural rules. Whether you like them or not, they're still technically Bulgarians.
@inat4et0697 жыл бұрын
sorry but they are not. If you are for example a korean that lives in Bulgaria does that makes you a bulgarian. technically not. also those people invaded in the country and brake rules of the community. And when you actual charge them or try to go against them because they are doing things illegally they become scandalous and they combine as one and play the victims or even attack people for doing their jobs. I am very sorry but those kind of people are very toxic for one community. and kalaidzhi is not a like a minitory name its a middle name so dont talk about something you clearly dont understand.
@03data7 жыл бұрын
I just typed "Bulgarian definition" into google. This was the result: "a native or inhabitant of Bulgaria, or a person of Bulgarian descent." Note the "or inhabitant" part. So they definitely are Bulgarian, and a Korean person living in Bulgaria would be Bulgarian too. Please stop creating your own definitions of words and then causing confusion for others.
@inat4et0697 жыл бұрын
Paul den Hollander / 03data look idk what the search lead you to but if you really live in the country and see the problem you'll get my point. You just happen to be far away from it not knowing the full story judging by what you see but haven't experienced. Have anyone in your country that is seemingly not from there abuse a child , threatened a kid or beaten to death an elder? If yes then I am so sorry and I want to add that gypsies in Bulgaria do this all the time as a life time. They claim they want to live like other people in Bulgaria but they drop out of school earlier many times by their choice and start learning how to steal or how to fool people. They want more children so the embassy could pay as child support. Most of these people live in mansions while getting money from people backs. There are a lot more problems with them that you could not understand if you haven't lived with them. I will repeat myself by saying that there are some odds that work and feed their family with money they actually earned but those odds are small. We do respect those odds but we can't possibly respect people who don't do the same as they simple ruin the country. Also have you ever wandered where those women-exchange meetings are hold? That's right in the center of the nearest city which was not made for those purposes. If people try to stop the gypsies or even politely try to send them away they get aggressive and threatening. And because they come in large groups we can't possibly confront them as they'll simply beat as to death. There are so many unspoken details to this exact community that you can't know. And once again I'd like to say everybody is welcome everywhere but enough is enough and there can't be people living fine while others suffer from their stupidity and ego.
@03data7 жыл бұрын
I don't see how that is relevant, because as my entire point was: That's not what they were trying to say at all. You're just taking offence at something where they didn't mean any. It sucks if you get judged by what others do, but that's clearly not the case in this video, and the fact remains that the word Bulgarians still applies to them.

Ryan Sachio Because the majority of them are exactly that ... leeches, who doesn't want to live like normal people, refuse to accept Bulgarian laws, refuse to go to schools and find proper jobs, refuse to obey and follow procedures regarding police and medical assistance, refuse to accept that they are a minority and not a majority and always want more and more. I mean why would a gypsy go and get work when he can leech of the same country's system he is so against that gives him a substantial amount of money for every kid he has. That's why they have like 7 or 8 kids and that's only in a single household. Now imagine a whole neighbourhood of them which are predominant in bigger cities in Bulgaria like Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna.

Ryan Sachio Look, I know well enough that not all gypsies are the same. If you put an effort and try to integrate them, I think it can work out. I should know since I live in a town in Bulgaria, where there is a Roma community living and they are pretty well organized. They work, they pay taxes as far as I know, they actually enroll their kids in schools and kindergartens and are contributing to society as much as they can. But I am talking about a small town with 24k citizens and a Roma community of like 3000 people. It works well here because they are a fewer than most Roma communities in other bigger cities where the situation is as I've explained to you.
