The ZD Racing EX-16 - A Look Inside, Test and Review

Makerfire have been extremely kind and sent me the new ZD Racing EX-16 01 to test. It has for sure won me over as I thought I would not like it that much, but boy was I wrong. Since recording this video I have driven it so many times. And it is amazing inside the house! To be recommended? Yes of course you beautiful people you!

Awesome review and run Tomley had the same problem with the wheels coming off I'm surprised this car is just now getting attention it's been for sale on AliExpress for a while now and it's cheaper there

Yes I noticed the spinal that the nuts go on is too short. So I'll use thinner nuts. Basic mistake that should not have happened. I saw its been out for a while but I think that was a a soft release. Lately they have been pushing it out more.

Looks great. Price is a bit steep I think but that depends on your preference/budget and where you will be running the car mostly. Honestly, I love my SG1604 (brushed). In my opinion does the same thing at almost half the price, comes with regular tires and drift tires, and my own came with 2 batteries so more fun. Mind you one battery runs for quite some time especially if you are diving indoors at a lower speed setting. I will also note the ESP or gyro setting on my SG1604 works great although I have seen people commenting that there own was not or appeared to not be functioning. Love the videos John.

Yes for sure Paul you have a point. However try and adjust or modify and things stop pretty quickly with the SG-1604. HOWEVER you do get a lot for the money. The EX-16 is for those wanting a little more and better quality drifting. But if course. Each to their own. Have a lovely evening and stay safe.

Ha ha! I did check them mate and they were all on tight. Seems the thread is a mm to short so doesn't catch the locking part. So I'll just replace them with smaller ones. Yes it's a great little car. No idea about 3s but I will of course try. 😂😂 Big bang! 😁😁😁

It looks pretty nice. But my Eat15 brushed is enough for me for smaller scale drifting. Nothing like as modifiable as this, but tough and great fun. ☺ (and I paid less than £50 delivered)
