@birdshawaii since I am a beginner, I would like to ask you, I am thinking of getting two zebra finches, either 2 males or two females, what do you think is the ideal cage size?

🤗Aloha🐦 I’m not an expert, but learning every day so let me share something: I recommend a cage as big and tall as possible you can get. I heard that an oval shape is Not good for them for some reason so better to get rectangular ones with heights. They are super active. They need exercise a lot ! if you will have very young ones and tamed them please give them the “out of cage time every day” 🙏🏽but please be aware any potential dangers such as very sharp objects, any pipes or holes 🕳️ that can be trapped, toxic plants, chemicals, even the pitcher of water. I don’t know where you live but if you have cold winter, please keep them warm. Also it’s very important the place is quiet 🤫 in the night and a lot of sunshine in the day.
