In this cutscene, the fisherman states that the sword is a Magic Sword, meaning it's the sword from the original titles, not the Master Sword.

Looking at a lot of these scenes side-by-side makes me realize how good a lot of these character designs really are, they’re just stuck on the CDI with a crappy inconsistent art style and animated at 12 fps. King Harkinian, Gwonam, Morshu, Lady Alma, Mayor Cravendish, Lord Kiro and a lot of the others look really good when animated more smoothly and with much less pixelated linework.
