Hi Chase. Great video, thanks for sharing. The internet is already overcrowded with the technicals of the zettelkasten. I would really appreciate to see and learn more about your approach to how to use it and move from fleeting idea into a full article, concept, video etc. I somehow have a "sort of kind of zettelkasten" but if I don't press "Open Random Note" on Obsidian , the zettelkasten leads nowhere. And in this day and age with new rabbit holes and more information to dig in, is pretty hard to go back and see "which was where". When all that time is spent on new stuff or creating new stuff. So how do you revisit old info or visit the higher perspective or apply it in your process? Do you use MOCs? If not, do you have a page where you can visit broad topics with links to detailed zettels? A video like that would be way more helpful than just explaining technicalities. All the best!

Hey, thank you so much for watching and commenting! You're absolutely right. It's even the reason I wanted to make a "different" kind of zettelkasten video like the one I made. There's already a lot about "how to zettelkasten." I think what you mentioned is a much better direction for future content. I do have a really great system I created around my ZK (I think all it my Core system) to help me go from fleeting thoughts to actual articles written and videos created. It's how I was able to make this video pretty easily from it. I'll definitely make informational videos about this workflow. Thanks for bringing up the suggestion! Are there any others specifics you'd want me to cover?

@@itschasemac thanks for getting back, I didn't see your message as notification. I would be interested in finding out more about the decision making process when creating a template, adding a file property, creating a link, going from something you read until it gets published and the pipeline details in your specific details regarding that.

Great video! What topics do you find yourself taking notes on most lately?
@itschasemac5 ай бұрын
Thanks man! Oh boy, I write about a lot of topics. I'm a multi-passionate creative so I like creating a content around all my interests. My next video is about that personality type so it will be nice to share. For now, the main things I like writing about are digital business, productivity, philosophy, mental health, creativity, organizational systems, digital writing, personal branding, content creation, etc

hola hola, i have bee into Zettelkasten at least 2 yearss an i making my thesis in experimental biology, almost the same things hiperactivity and no execution but the method is the way. really ihave al ot of mini assays in Spanish and English. is a real metho for research and ceative thinking the machien has a ghost an is like a copy of my mind. wirting by hand is the best way. analog is the best but an integration with digitla is osom not the best for me but man it really helps. thank you for taking again the zettelkasten to YT videos. please make another with the kind of methdo taht you use. great quest in life to take a zettelkasten.

Love everything you said here! Send me your thesis when you're done with it! Would love to give it a read :) sounds like a great idea. Thank you for the kind words. I agree, the analog version as many benefits to it. I do miss it. I had to really simplify my digital version to make up for that. But simple is usually better, atleast for me. I will definitely be making many more videos about how I have my zettelkasten setup and how I use it. So stay tuned! Thanks for the support!
