This boils down to trauma, immaturity selfishness, lack of self control and lack of respect for your partner. Cheating is a choice and if you know damn well you would hurt someone you supposedly care for or love and you would feel truly heartbroken should they do the same, you wouldn’t do it . Temptation is always going to be there and If it’s so hard to ignore them just be bloody single and date and sleep with who you please.

@@thetgrenadegranada1570interesting, so why are so many men hurt when they find out the woman they are seeing has a side dude!!! Maybe you should say any man or women who believes that is naive. @HowToSurviveInBabylon3 жыл бұрын
Personally as a man if your going into a relationship and you know monogamy is not for you then as a man you need to own up to that and be straight up with the woman and let her know that she is not the only woman you will be sleeping with and that way it gives the woman a choice to think about if she will be ok with the man having other women involved in his life, no point sneaking around and lying to your woman, men need to just man up and own up to their polygamous nature and stop lying to women pretending to be monogamous.
@s.ngannou45193 жыл бұрын
Every villain has a backstory involving trauma. Every cheater and heartbreaker starts off as the heartbroken. Cheating becomes a defence mechanism against heartbreak by maintaining a feeling of power and emotional independence. It’s also a way of subconsciously exacting revenge on “women” who are now the perceived threat. Its like a warrior extending a hand of trust and peace whilst holding a sword behind his back with the other.

Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” 2 But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. 3 The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4 For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. 5 Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 1 Corinthians 7:1-5

@@hardknocke9 lol if we don’t want the same things we don’t need to continue with whatever. Don’t come and try lie, fool, trick and deceive people and then play like it means nothing. Lowe it. It’s an option to do what you want visa versa stop trying to make cheating ok because it is not that’s like saying liking children’s ok because it’s the persons nature and because it’s logical to them it should be understandable to whoever and accept it. Just get out of here. If it’s not logical then go and be by yourself because your clearly with someone who doesn’t have the understanding that you want so go find that and stop acting like it’s ok to lie and string people along because “sex is an act” rhetoric 🙄 go and learn about a woman’s logic because no one is trying to understand you you don’t even understand yourself.

I’m sorry but all I hear is a lack of accountability. IF we are going to use being a mammal and or biology to explain why men can’t be monogamous then by that logic we as women should in fact be the ones to have multiple partners not men due to the fact that we have a limited amount of eggs and need to select a mate that has the most desirable genetic traits that will guarantee the success of our offspring. Therefore men should be doing their best to illustrate why we should pick them!

the narrative of "you haven't cheated because you don't have the option" or "you're only as faithful as your options" is a terrible standpoint. what about commitment? what about a genuine loving relationship? women that automatically equate a man that doesn't cheat to being a dead man to be lack a lot of critical thinking. why are men that are genuinely faithful talked about as though they're repulsive. this world is finished!

Zeze - pleasure watching and hearing you do your thang. I would argue that women may not necessarily confess their indiscretions. And, why men cheat isn't that complicated and can be attributed to peer group pressure. Keep up the great work!

It's the generalisations for me. It would be good if there was a debate which included all ends of the spectrum because let's face it, not ALL men cheat and not ONLY men cheat (they just get caught). My relationship is a perfect example, me a woman would like to be in an open relationship, whereas my partner, a man, only wants to be monogamous. If this conversation was taken out of the lens, that only men need to account for infidelity or being open to having more than one partner, it would be an interesting conversation. E.g. a conversation including a faithful man and woman, unfaithful/poly man and woman, and side man and woman

Ultimately I do not condone cheating and agree with Garvey that if you want a poly relationship, you should say and let the partner decide ei they're happy with that or not

The trauma view is very valid. Anyone laughing or dismissing that perspective on it should understand that ALL OF US in some way are living our lives in certain ways due to trauma. We all do certain things because of trauma, we all act in a certain way because of trauma, whether that's from one experience of it or many, our subconscious rules our lives and we are shaped by the experiences we have = who we are/who we become. Being hurt from a young age in a relationship will most definitely impact the way we navigate future relationships and the way we treat other people. Until we seek therapy, the same pattern continues. We all do this and it's disrespectful to shut down Rich's openness of his experience and how he felt this resulted in him cheating. Very valid.

@@yusufiper2535 nah thats some bull. Many reasons men cheat. One main reason Men cheat is because they have a hunger to attract women. The facts are u teach a lion to hunt all its life... Then when they are an adult u say... Nah stop hunting mate.... U would be like huh... This is in my nature. So having to mentally stop something that you HAVE to do to attract the other party all your life and now your being told stop instantly. Its like stopping drugs cold turkey. So mentally its hard for men to stop doing it because doing so is a sense of achievement and survival. Whereas women 1 can connect with the counterparts easier due to their being and will always be able to attract a male because they are the pickers.... They get what they choose we get what we are given. So thats one of the reasons ot so hard to stop.

I liked this show ZeZe although the solutions are not really there! I truly believe from a women’s point of view that we see men so masculine that they don’t feel but as much as you didn’t agree with the guy, you have to respect his experiences and what he went through and his reasons for turning to other women. I also felt like insecurities played a massive part his life experiences and so he was dealt several same cards. I go on vibes, women are out here wanting man so badly but they themselves are not feeling themselves and so they attract the same type of man and it doesn’t work. Well done 👍🏾 a massive supporter of yours xxx 😘

emotional maturity doesn't come with age. I know 15year olds more mature than a few 30-year-olds and that's down to emotional intelligence. I believe cheaters need to work on their EQ so that they can make better decisions and also communicate them effectively.
