Millions of people worldwide suffer from overactive bladder and incontinence. These common conditions may be caused by a communication breakdown between the brain and the bladder. The good news is that using neuromodulation therapy, the Zida Control Sock can provide real relief. As opposed to pads and diapers which just cover up the problem and pharmaceuticals with nasty side-effects, the Zida Control Sock can have long term, lasting effects. Covered by most major insurances as well as Medicare, the Zida Control Sock is the treatment you’ve been waiting for. Talk to your doctor about getting a prescription today: livezida.com/d...

Thanks for interviewing him, Chef AJ. It is FDA cleared, which is amazing in and of itself, because that's a huge process to go through. This is something, I think, that the majority of us can use, or will, as we get older. For me, taking some supplements has helped but I would love to add one more tool to my toolbox. And, I prefer not to take medication. As we get older, the more medicines we take the more chance of side effects and interactions.

The price is outrageous ! I can’t understand why, the technology seems quite simple.

There's a huge amount of research, time and energy to get the devices created, manufactured, and then get it to through the FDA process to have it approved. On drugs, they will estimate it takes over $1 million dollars (even by huge drug companies) to even bring a drug to market. Probably about the same on a device that has to get FDA approval.

@@katm.9567Yeah, I bought a PeMF / ICES which does a lot of amazing things but the developer said he couldn’t afford the million dollars for FDA approval

I used to have incontinence until I switched to mostly drinking water rather than carbonated beverages.

My urologist recommended a tens unit that is very inexpensive. Utube has instructions on how to use tens for bladder control. He did not compare tens to Zida. I would be very interested to hear what he has to say about tens unit vs Zida.

Did you watch the interview because I do discuss it. It helped with the incontinence and decreased the nighttime frequency.

In my case, it was 100% that soda was causing my incontinence. I drink as much water as I drank soda but there aren’t even little leaks since I switched.

I ordered the Zida sock after the first AJ interview with the maker. It did not work for me, unfortunately. It had no impact on urgency or frequency even though I don’t have any more serious condition. What concerned me the most was that the company was communicative about how it was going and seemed like they wanted to collect data when I first got it but after I told the employee that it didn’t seem like it was working for me after using it for a period of time according to instructions, I never heard from them again.

@@CHEFAJ I could but I guess I’m worried that the only path forward would be to pour more money into something that over promises - especially now that they’ve added the recommendation to replace the sock every 12 weeks. That was not a recommendation in print or verbally from Zida when I purchased the device after getting the paperwork filled out by my doctor. I’m not so sure that a device designed to work at home in a way similar to a medical procedure is really effective in doing that. At the same time, I was hopeful and I don’t want to discourage anyone it may work for. At this time, you are the only one I know of that has had any success and I think you said at one point that you were using it every day? I tried that too after it didn’t work for 2 rounds of 12 weeks
