This reminds me of several toy pinball machines they used to sell at Toys R Us way back in the day. They looked really cool when advertised and in the box, but once played there was just zero comparison to the real thing. Thanks for sharing the vid, as it reminded me of my young days haunting the toy stores.

Oh PDubs, I'm so sorry that it turned out these weren't unopened, they're probably returns that people didn't want and had refunded. I'm also sorry you are so underwhelmed, I hope the Marvel machine, being the second generation, has improvements that don't make the game so weak. I wonder how they compare to my Star Galaxy, which is in a way a Zizzle clone, as it was made by the company who bought the patents from Zizzle. It has a few changes to the playfield, but sadly only has a very simple score-counting game like those $20 plastic tabletop pinball toys. At least the Zizzle has rules, modes, and even a wizard mode. I would love to film a side-by-side comparison review video.

I had the marvel heroes vs villains version back in the day. Kids didn't enjoy it as it was horrible drainer especially if one had no pinball experience. I mastered the game, even beat it a couple of times. My problem with it is that it fell apart way too easy. The plunger eventually became useless, the pop bumpers wouldnt work anymore. Was fairly easy to get parts...but the overall build was with compressed wood or particle board. Got tired of jeri rigging and got rid of it.

PDubs! My Matey! I have to say, I think Stern's Godzilla has better toys on it than this one. And though I haven't played a Stern Godzilla, it looks like it may play better than this Zizzle Pirates pin. I guess what I'm saying is, you should've gone with Stern's Godzilla :) Sure, it may cost a little bit more, but I think you would've gotten a higher quality table :P :D Man, Zizzle's Pirates of the Caribbean drains worse than a sink with ten drains in it. And as far as that auction house goes, I'd stay far away from them. There always seems something glaringly wrong with the take home product. Thanks for sharing as always! vgv

Any chance of removing the backside cover underneath the playfield table? I'm curious to see the type of voltage the solenoids are and what type of solenoids it take to power flippers and slingshots. Be nice to add 24v solenoids to flippers and slingshots and have them all powered by a separate 24v DC power supply unit. Wouldn't take much to do. Also redrill hole location for the flippers to close the gap between the flippers. Might be a one to two day event to do all of this, but I'm sure it would make the modifications worthwhile. The thing that really bothers me while viewing this pinball machine are the black pole pieces. Looks cheap. At least add a screw head on top to give it more of an illusion of how a real pinball pole is lock down by a screw or replace them with real pinball pole pins with rubber around it to make the ball bounce off the poles to make the game even more livelier. Thanks for the video.

I have to disagree with some of the points made...if you are looking for a real pinball experience for a machine that really only worth 100.00-200.00 you will most definitely be disappointed ☹️ but there's the beauty in this situation. You have the building blocks of a potential awesome build if you have the time and patience. Make the zizzle pinball your own... customize away with no fear after all it's a 200.00 table. Upgrade the flippers put LED lights inside, outside, under and above it. Your only limit is your imagination my man!!!
