The random screams followed by him apologizing for being loud are so heartbreaking, he's trying so hard to keep his cool but sometimes cracks under pressure, really hoping he's doing better because watching this was genuinely painful, his comments on how he should quit because he's "bad at the game" is something I can relate to a lot and it really shows how hard it is to have motivation to play this game when you get upset really easily The moment at 15:28 especially stuck with me, wanting to accomplish something but feeling like you can't make any progress regardless of how hard you try is one of the most soulcrushing feelings ever, and you can tell he was definitely going through that a lot while playing this level, that coupled with the fact that you're slowly losing consistency at the later parts of the level due to dying at the beginning a lot when it really feels like you should get far everytime is probably one of the most frustrating things one can go through playing this game

I always had this image of Npesta as an amazing, happy, comedic genius and I'm going to be honest, when I went in to this video at first I was expecting to laugh a bit. But the way that he raged, the way he talked about himself really broke me... I see him in a new light now as a true human who is struggling, not just an entertainer, and could see depression really leaking through there. I hope he gets better with time and hard work, and I hope his community will stand strong with him the entire way. I know I will.

stop throwing the word depression around; going through a hard time doesnt necessarily mean ur depressed; neither does having bad mental health. until people come out and say they have depression dont call it tht. its bad for both the person ur talking ab and everyone with actual depression. depression affects 3.8% of people worldwide… even the percent of people with blue eyes is higher than that (8%). I want to share a piece of advice to people who rage a lot and hopefully calm them, so I have had this experience in the past with hard demons and insane demons and when you start losing progression you start getting impatient and want to beat the level already. With this, you start to try less and set expectations yourself to beat it right then and there. Geometry dash requires skill and patience to beat hard levels, and when you stop trying, your less effort causes you to die more and when you die you lose tolerance and start raging. It only gets worse from there. This has worked for me every time when I was playing levels like toe 2 v2, Fairydust or 8o. Those levels did not like me and it caused me to rage a lot, but I decided to take a few hour break, eat something, and do something useful. When I came back I felt in a better mood even when I died 90% and a few attempts later, I beat it. Sorry for the long story, but moral of the story: If you're ever raging, take a break, you will feel better and maybe be able to beat the level you were playing more comfortably. RAGING SOLVES NOTHING!
@IBM-51002 жыл бұрын
It's not that easy, some people have anger issues and they increase while doing something stressful, just like playing a hard level in this game, taking a break help, but if you're like this, it won't be enough and you'll still rage playing the game.

its surprising to see him like this during the kenos streams i thought he was so well put together for dying past the 70 wave a uncountable amount of times

Seeing Npesta completely get ripped apart at 5:50 was so sad. You can just see the look of disappointment in his eyes and it even hurts to watch. I'm very glad he ended up overcoming it and ended up beating it though, especially because of how much pain it caused him.

this is a very interesting video,someone finally not treating fails like "top 50 best reactions" or something like that,It's right that we all can look apart from the npesta's tipical jokes and sarcasm and pay attention that his mental health is ruined with a simplistic game (I'm not saying he cares too much about It,I also got very raged at this and had depressed times)

i think reactions should be completions not fails but if the fail is really unique then it would be a good reaction

zodiac is just not a good level for people with bad mental health. its horribly unbalanced and super stressful meaning that you get stressed and die to an easy part or die to a hard part and get pissed because its the last one for 30 seconds
@HavocGMD10 ай бұрын
I've never seen someone's confidence fall off a cliff so much in this game. I truly feel bad for npesta. Having such a hard and terrible time with Zodiac, every tiny mistake putting a dent in his confidence and making him more demotivated and miserable. I'm just happy that he finally managed to beat this living hell of a level. GG npesta on beating Zodiac and conquering the Extreme Demon Roulette. 👍♥️

the fact this is a 30 minute video probably shows how atrocious this level is

The gameplay isn't even that bad it's just that the mental really sinks in.

It’s not that bad, it’s just that after playing for 4 minutes you get a little bit nervous and think you will pass the whole level.

Idk man, all his deaths were his fault, that’s just a skill issue as he says.

@@zzyunogd ofc all of his deaths were "his fault" because thats how It works in GD apart from Hz bugs. that doesnt mean that the nerves don't play a part tho

Nobody who thinks that would be willing to watch something like this, unfortunately. Also, if they did, they would just assume the people like Npesta just have anger issues and it’s all on them.

It was mentally hard for me to watch these streams, it got to the point where if he was far into the level, I would mute the stream to not hear the pain and rage.

I came here, expecting to laugh because his kenos rage moments were really funny, but here I left with deep sadness caused by remorse. This game is literally a bully for mental health and self-esteem.
@defectumdefectum96422 жыл бұрын
Also to npesta saying I was hella nervous cuz he didn’t get to that part he said in 3 days also bothers me too whenever I’m doing a level cuz it not only makes my heart rate spike up so much but cuz since I didn’t make it their for awhile it adds a lot more stress. If you frequently get far into a level you’ll have good nerve controls. Get unlucky then your gonna expect high heart rates.

Especially it happens with XL demons to me. Levels over 3 minutes long really make me suffer from mental breakdown.

And I'm not even able to get past 1% in practice mode. I've only played 3 demons so far and suck at jump orb timings, but damn, Zodiac is so hard! When Npesta plays it and talks at the same time, it looks so easy but it's not. Just shows how skilled Npesta is.

this is what my and my friend chopblox went through when we were doing bloodbath (first extreme for me) and slaughterhouse (chopblox) and people never seem to understand how much those levels affected us mentally, it especially affected me the most, and im willing to say this, ive slammed my desk, broken a monitor, a mouse, and part of my microphone desk clamp just off of bloodbath itself, chop never really broke anything, the things that broke were from his spilling something (a drink on his keyboard), or something else, but never went to my levels of extreme, thankfully in the end, we both beat them, but with what? Our mental healths were much shittier than before, and we only felt a moment of success after beating it, and still today, we ask ourselfs how different would we be if we both never jumped to these levels. At the time chop did slaughterhouse, his best was nhelv (which was a top 120 by the time he completed it, tho i might be mistaking) and my hardest before bloodbath was Magma Bound, originally i wanted to do Acu, but i chose bloodbath for some reason, and for the next 4 months of my life, i suffered through hell, dying at 96 and 99, getting 95 2 times, and overall wanted to quit gd in general, but i kept strong and continued till i beat it on april first. The entire point of this comment is so show how much me and him went through, and how it corresponds with Npesta's pain with Zodiac, and to show no matter who's the one playing, mental suffering like this can and will happen to anyone, just some people handle it differently than others. Let this be a lesson to always take breaks when your playing gd, specially if you havent had a good day. please take care everyone
