This is in my opinion the greatest ending in the past 25 years. Glazer is one of the greatest Directors working today. The moment he seems to notice the camera and it cuts to current time give me a feeling I rarely get from films. I spent almost an hour re-watching it. Amazing scene.

ig he is used to the surroundings and he hasn't been or eaten any food or enjoy outside of his environment (his house and surroundings) he cant bare the normal environment because he and his family is used to the scream and the burning smoke around them so his body feels hard to fit into normal enviornment its just a different way to think i guess

Idl why youtube recommended this to me, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the holocaust? I'm guessing it re-contextualizes the whole movie, but tbh it kinda makes me roll my eyes. Nazis are not a surprise anymore

It's not that the movie is about nazis it's how it is about nazis. This does not recontextualize the whole movie. It instead puts into stark contrast the mundanity of evil and the modern world that has left them behind

Why would you even try to interpret a movie you haven't even seen? No you're not even in the same city let alone ball park, way off. Watch the movie. It doesn't re contextualize anything. One of the best films this century. But if you're only into surface level bs and "marvel" that require no thought then it's definitely not for you.

You know about as much about my perspective of cinema, as I do about the movie at hand when I made the comment. I could talk all day about what I think makes a good movie or a bad one, especially in animation. WHEN IM DAMN SOBER, LOL
