Mine came with a shorter shaft also. But I'm considering sawing the long one and epoxying threads so i can take it apart and put it back together in case i needed a shorter handle. Pain to carry the small one also

Soooo. The slingshot on the end of a pole... I'm not complaining mind you... maybe it will stabilize? Or take the whole attachment and use it free? Price? Ordering?

How solid is that staff? Is that real hickory? Is the staff heavy?
@SugarcreekForge9 жыл бұрын
+Ramon Aguila2014 (InternetHawk_CA) Hi Ramon. It is really solid and real hickory. It doesn't feel too heavy to me - Kind of feels "just right". I guess that is a subjective thing, but I would hate if it felt flimsy.

Compared to a proper folding shovel, his has limited use. Good luck killing any game with the spear or sling shot. There are much better options for an axe/machete and saw, and a sog can be lashed to an even longer pole cut in the woods, or a basic walking stick. You can buy a frog/fish gig for a fraction of what he's asking and attach it to a pole cut in the woods. It has the cool factor but that's all you are paying the $255 for. For those that don't want to make one, the staff, by itself, is probably worth the $36 he's asking, but the built in compass is a novelty. Basically, he's giving away the staff in hopes you will buy the over priced accessories.
