@girlfromthecenteroftheuniv60455 жыл бұрын
@@thesatelliteoverhead6776 Hello you ♥ Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone in feeling this way. You and your friend should be very proud of that, as it is important to search for quality and not just quantity. Having a healthy and stable relationship with yourself is the most important thing, because you really can't relate to others if you can't even relate to yourself. Being introverted is good in that way, because it connects you to your soul. Getting that connection can be very difficult when the rest of the world is as chaotic as it is, but taking steps like realizing where your limits go and what serves you/doesn't serve you is a really good way to do this. Anyway, I hope you're doing well, take care ♥

This music video represents Matty's struggle with anxiety and depression. He's alone in his own space, in his own head and the visuals are so chaotic because they represent his thoughts. The lyrics show that he feels like a bore and a bother to his friends so he resorts to loneliness. It's just him and his frail state of mind vibing. (all my opinion)

The imagery in this MV touches me in a way nearly nothing does. I can't explain how and why. The raw and unfiltered emotions of the damaged tape, the scattered information overflow, the deep dive into the reality and function of everything and slowly losing contact, all while being on the brink. Frail state of mind indeed.

I feel scared for Matty sometimes because these legends have a way of leaving us behind like curt cobain & chester bennington! To anyone reading this please know that someone out there cares about you & your life is worth living. At least live for THE 1975 I’M HAPPY TO BE ALIVE AT THE SAME TIME AS THEM. LONG LIVE THE 1975

I wonder if the band and crew get as hyped for a video release as we do? Also, I never commented on a music video before, but this seems worth it.

Dopamine Darling i want to imagine that george, ross, adam, and matty are all just like all in a room and matty starts giggling. and they all just get the notification that it premieres soon. marty’s just sat there like “omg i’m so quirky and random, i can’t believe i did that”

I feel like this song perfectly describes what people with mental health problems feel towards their friends and going out and that. I really love it and the video is sick🖤

It's been a year since this song was released, and I still feel like it was written for people like me, people with a frail state of mind. And today I look back to this song, and everything I felt at that time, and it hits me how much I've improved. and I think this is what music is for.

I just want to announce how much I adore them. It’s been like 7 years since I’ve first discovered them and I’m 19 now still listening to the debut almost everyday and everything they make is gold. I adore literally all of their sounds. As they grow, I grow with them.

Michelle Gonzalez I started listening to them around 2012/ 2013 but I am very much aware of the fact that they’ve been making music for much longer. You tried it

I had my first baby in 2014. I fell into a deep depression then, and with every single moment that I grew into being a mother- y’alls self titled album was playing. Helping me through wanting to take my own life. I saw y’all in 2016 and was absolutely blown away. Nothing will ever top that night. I just had my second child and I am back in the pit, even deeper. I’ve never wanted to be gone more than I do now. This song, like every other song makes me feel like I have a friend that understands. I can’t express just how many times your music has saved me. I’m going to miss you, in town next week. But I’ll be there in spirit. Thank you for your music.
