Better conp for Keon is actually from Florida as well, reminds me a ton Kelvin Benjamin. Without a vacuum at the WR position for him to fill into, I don't see him being a success. His "jump ball" catch rate is much worse than the highlights would have you believe. There are way more lowlights to his career than highs.

Thats a horrible comp. They have the same athletic profile, but are much different. Chase has better hands and is much more physical and press resistant. A true X receiver. Nabers struggles versus press, but is more explosive and is a much better yac threat.

@@ddddddddd378 Physicality wise they’re the same, Nabers can beat press but he was played primarily the slot bc he’s better there + he played alongside BT. DBs also have to respect Nabers’ explosiveness which is why we don’t see many press reps. Comps are never going to be completely accurate anyways. as well in terms of athleticism and just being elite playmakers him and chase are in the same group

@crangusmcbasketball2931 I think people get lost in the stats sometimes. He can beat press, but not versus elite corners. Its something most LSU WRs struggle with. Chase didn't because he was already very physical in his route running. You look at his great Alabama game, he beat off man and zknd coverage consistently, but he doesnt have a catch versus press, although they didnt play much of it. But once CBs got physical with him, he didnt know what to do. You can look at the Florida State game with a great press man CB Renardo Green, he doesnt get much. Chase torched everyone. I do think Nabers will be really good, because of his elite explosiveness, ability to beat zone coverage and simply danger in space, but if you ask him to line up on the line of scrimmage and beat CBs like that, you will be disappointed. He is nothing like Chase playstyle wise, but he is still an elite prospect. And honestly, its not like he cant improve his release package and add flexibility, but he is never gonna "beat up" corners like Chase.

@more688 His release and not elite athleticism were his biggest knocks in the draft. He got time to develop his release because he had Adam Thielen next to him. Same thing with Nabers, he could develop his release, which would make him one of the best receivers in the league, but if he doesnt, he may be a slot receiver for his career, an elite one, but still, thats a knock in terms of positional versatility. Thars why I prefer Marvin and Rome.
