TC-REC is my least used feature on the MKII. Thanks for destroying once again my workflow in favor of something more straightforward! For real bro, keep this thing up, WE NEED THIS!

Hi there! Nice beat as usual! Do you know if thetre is a way to know the parameters for the steps in tr-rec? For exemple, if i want to know the pitch, velocity or offset of a note. Let say it sounds good and i want to duplicate it but dont remember what i did. Thanks!

Great question. I haven't come across anything that shows this information but this would be extremely useful. Even if you could copy the settings of a pad to apply it to another pad. I also would love if there was an option to preview the sound when you input it into TR-Rec Mode so you can hear how the note/sample behaves when you input it on the step sequencer rather than waiting for the playhead to go through the entire loop.

@@SaiaFT Right! the sp is such a powerful little box, but with a lot of flaws. Like, i would like to be able to copy/merge a sequence from a pattern (for exemple the drums) to another existing pattern. As for now, if i have a dozen of pattern already made and i decide to change my drums, i have to redo all patterns... unless there is a way to do so? Hopefully Roland is listening.

Is there a certain process that you have when matching the BPM the sample to your Drums? I would love to know.
@SaiaFT10 ай бұрын
Nah because Im not trying to loop the sample to the beat as I chop it up quite a bit.
@NeisanMo.10 ай бұрын
@@SaiaFT ahh I see thanks for that. But if you were to loop a sample to your drums that is initially not the same BPM, is it as simple as using "BPM SYNC"?
@SaiaFT10 ай бұрын
@NeisanMo. Yes I've used BPM sync for some top loops before and it works pretty well. I think you have to set up the sample in a certain way so it obeys the BPM sync when it turns on.
