Ringo is going to be 84 at this next birthday and he is as sharp as a tack. Amazing man.

It’s amazing he’s in such good shape considering how hard he was living in the 60s 70s & 80s. If you see any video of him from the 70s & 80s he was completely bombed + he was a chain smoker.

When Lennon was the lead singer on Beatle songs, he largely wrote the song & the same w/McCartney which is why he got petty in wanting some of the compositions he solely wrote to be changed to McCartney/Lennon. Everyone knows in songwriting teams, everything is not 50/50. Some of the most famous songwriting teams had one partner that only wrote the words/poem, for example, yet did not know how to put those words to music so that was the partner’s job. And virtually anyone can be given song writing credits yet are not true songwriters per se. There are many components to the finished product in a song down to the record producer

@@kcampbell3045 It should even be a shade or two lighter than what’s he’s got. Looks too harsh. Even though a color was your natural color back in the day, it’s not becoming by the time you’re older. Even females look harsh in dark shades

If any of you watching this are Marketing or Business Administration students or work in the field, THIS video is an excellent example of how you sell a lousy product (RIngo Starr's albums) to an eager public by stroking over and over the "legend" of the Beatles. In his entire career with the band, Ringo only wrote 2 songs (with a lot of help from his friend George Harrison), and sang only on a handful. His drumming skills fit like a glove for the band's music, but overall, his solo career exists only because of his other skill: Continuing to successfully leveraging his Beatles connection from 54 years ago in order to get other rock stars to write him songs and to perform on his records. The product is as hollow as today's pop music, and as forgettable, BUT "It's A Beatle". No other former drummer or band member has been as successful as Ringo Starr. There are tons of similar videos praising and celebrating some product that will make you wish it yours, and upon playing it, you won't mind having been ripped off because of The Beatles, man! And next year, there'll be another Ringo EP, single or album which will be bought by the gullible fans everywhere. Paul McCartney is too rich and distant to touch. George and John are dead. Ringo is all we have left. Let's celebrate, make the most of it, and buy his awful records. If YOU can duplicate Ringo's formula at your company, your career will take off like a rocket. Study these videos, learn from them. Apply them to your projects. Peace and Love. Give Peace A Chance. Love Is All You Need.

There was a Ringo interview with Dan rather years ago and they were discussing ringsos battle with alcohol. Rather asks if Ringo was a jack Daniel's guy and Ringo said he preferred brandy because he figured if he was ever stranded in the alps he'd be ok because of the dogs with the kegs around their necks.....Rather thought he was serious and it's probably the funniest exchange in interview history.
